In attempting to provide a thumbnail sketch of the spiritual-scientific conceptions of Dr. Steiner, and of those who followed the pathway he broke, one is sharply conscious of a certain impertinence. Steiner’s work is destined to change the character of modern knowledge, as well as expand the means of its acquisition. These are weighty matters. There are at present in print, in the U.S.A. and in the English language, at least 250 separate books and collections of lectures by Dr. Steiner. Let the following words therefore be regarded as an outline sketch of those aspects of Steiner’s work that enabled me to approach UFO phenomena in a new way.

Anthroposophy provides insight into the changes of consciousness that have taken place during human evolution, in various regions and periods of the past. Popular conceptions of ancient man present him as just like us, but lacking automobiles, electronics and similar modern appurtenances. Our belief today is that people did not really know anything before the rise of modern science and its measurement techniques.

Prior to the development, in the immediately recent past, of modern natural science, human beings held completely different views of cosmic and planetary evolution from those that are considered scientifically valid today. In earlier cultures, extending as far back as written records take us, men expressed their conceptions of cosmic workings in the “mythologies” that are an integral part of the cultural history of early humanity. Scientists lend no credence to these views of early men. Evolution and creation as seen by the ancients arose out of religious ideas and inspirations influencing humans in those early epochs.

Steiner has pointed out in many of his lectures, that all these varying cosmologies and cosmogonies — regardless of the geographical region, ethnic rooting or time period in which they were developed — attest to a mode of consciousness in their formulators markedly different from that of modern man. Spiritual beings were held to stand behind natural processes. These spiritual entities were deemed to be interwoven with earth life in a way that modern scientific consciousness can only regard as absurd.

Dr. Steiner recognizes and accepts the power and clarity of modern scientific thinking. At the same time, he repeatedly states that the particular type of brain-bound consciousness that has given rise to present material science, is a transitional form of consciousness. In short, changes of consciousness in the past evolution of mankind are a fact. Changes of consciousness in the future are a certainty.

Breaking through all prior limits of knowledge drawn by earlier philosophers, Steiner himself demonstrated in the breadth and depth of his own life’s work what the scientific mind of the future will be like. The scientist of tomorrow will have exact perception of the spiritual worlds, and of their processes and denizens. Present-day material science may be considered a sort of prototype of a future science that will understand the laws of the spiritual worlds with the same precision and clarity of thought now attending its physical endeavors.

As we move toward the increasing encounters with other-world intelligences and forms that are arising out of UFO manifestations, we do well to remember two things concerning the orthodox knowledge with which we are presently at- tempting official investigations of UFOs:

1. Modern natural science has been on the world scene only about a century and a half.

2. Until the advent of modern natural science, the mythico-religious conceptions of creation were the only conceptions entertained by humans. Their history extends back for millennia.

When technical data has been offered by non-terrestrials in contact with earthmen, as in the George Van Tassel communications, this technical advice has two main characteristics:

1. Advanced scientific concepts are employed that indicate technological mastery of etherian physics. These concepts have been largely execrated by official science when advanced theoretically by highly intelligent earth men. To the “spacemen” they are facts, far into technical application.

2. The entities involved speak of spiritual laws and forces with the same precision that we can apply only to “hard” technical fields like chemistry and optics.

The importance of Steiner’s pioneering work — showing humanity the pathway to such superior cognition — should already be evident. He showed us how to get to where the UFOs and their controlling intelligences already are. We have to do the job ourselves. We do it in freedom.

Steiner gave mankind the basic means and methods for acquiring the powers of cognition necessary to extend our scientific understanding of creation. The extension must inevitably be into the supersensible realms that stand behind the manifested world. Such glimpses of the New Knowledge in technical application as the UFOs have given us, leave little doubt that 21st century science is going to be radically different to that of today. So will be the consciousness of its scientists.

The time to set such changes on foot is now.

The contemporary deracination of any kind of spiritual or soul force as active in earth life is a recent thing in the evolution of humanity. Through all prior time, man maintained cosmic connections. The impact of UFOs on scientific consciousness — their arousal of technical curiosity and their inaccessibility to existing methods — has been immense. The UFOs have confronted us with the need to change ourselves. The direction of change will be as Dr . Steiner indicated — the systematic acquisition of superior cognitive and perceptive powers — and by the means he defined.

Thousands of young science students in the past decade took “trips” with LSD and other psychedelics, blasting open centers of higher perception with this powerful drug. Out of this pathological, but nevertheless devastatingly real contact with mind-stuff and emotion-stuff, has come a general impulse toward spiritual renewal. The science student who has seen the working of the ethers while under drugs becomes a candidate for their theoretical study, and for the intelligent application of his will to his own inner development. The strong souls will develop in themselves the same perceptual and cognitive powers as Dr. Steiner.

Modern materialistic science and its specialized consciousness have reached back into earlier earth life in the course of scientific investigation. Writings, drawings and records arising from human inner wisdom have been classified as mere superstition. This attitude stems from the impossibility of our viewing the cosmos with the consciousness of a Chaldean star-worshipper or an Egyptian priest. There is justification for the attitude of modern science, but it is essentially one-sided, and that is its weakness.

Cosmologies predating modern science had Man as the center and purpose of earth evolution. He was seen as worked upon by spiritual beings, powers and forces in an upward path to perfection. Modern materialistic science, by contrast, regards man as the end product of a series of biochemical accidents and arcane distillations, and there is as yet no coherent theory of evolution capable of withstanding the mounting torrent of scientific discoveries. Science is adrift in this field largely because it has not yet learned to read correctly the facts it has found. As with UFOs, the problem is not a lack of hard data, but a question of perception and consciousness.

The ancients conceived of the world and man as being built up over the eons by divine workings. In the sciences of the future, we will regain a similar knowledge of human origins, according to Dr. Steiner. This future science will develop its understanding of evolution by fortifying its external work with exact supersensible perceptions, scientific discipline, and a firm knowledge of the four basic ethers whose formative powers rule physical creation.* Ancient men felt themselves intimately membered into these etheric weavings, and out of this relationship arose what we regard today as ancient mythologies.

Modern materialistic science extinguishes all such intuitive feelings in its votaries. The systematic biasing of otherwise free minds is the bedrock of higher education, which George Bernard Shaw appropriately described as a “budget of lies”. The religious conceptions that survived the rise of modern science were relegated to the philosophical domain of faith -the bailiwick of ministers, mystics and the multitudes who followed them. As science multiplied its power of investigation, the religious field came to be regarded as essentially for the misguided and ill-informed.

For the old conceptions of divine workings, science substituted the Kant-La Place theory of evolution. Synthesized out of the conceptions of philosopher Immanuel Kant (Natural History of the Heavens) and the theories of Napoleon’s astronomer Pierre La Place, this was an approach to evolution wholly in tune with the juggernaut of Mechanism. Stripped of all soul, spirit and kindred influences, the Kant-La Place theory presented a lifeless, sterile picture of the origins of the earth.

A glowing, revolving gas ball is deemed to have slowly condensed, under this theory, spinning off the planets into their orbits. The whole thing eventually settled into the configuration we see today. Verifiable mechanical laws rule the whole happening. Soul and spirit become superfluous to what are regarded as the hard, physical facts. Life on earth is a later, seemingly accidental addition to the basic sterility of the earth’s origin. To this day, scientists have been content with this theory .As this is written, it is being crammed anew into the heads of yet another hapless generation of youngsters.

Evolution thus came to be regarded scientifically as something starting from inert substance, proceeding from below upwards. The basic astronomical mathematics of Johannes Kepler were an indispensable step in the consolidation of these modern scientific ideas of evolution, but were divested of Kepler’s conception of the universe as the body of a gigantic spiritual being. Any suggestion of spirit in the new concepts was left with the mythological notions of ancient men, amid the dust and junk of long-dead civilizations.

The searingly hot Kant-La Place gas ball is a mechanist’s delight. Physical man or other life — either as an extant entity at the time or as a prior contributor to evolution — was totally eliminated. My discovery of the plasmatic bio-forms — heat critters — undoes the idea that great heat and life are incompatible and paves the way for a new empirical beginning. Since Kant-La Place, however, notions of when and how life on earth started, have in formal circles, occupied some of our brightest minds. These varying notions have also triggered some of the fiercest arguments between scientists.

The sterility that is seemingly inseparable from that glowing gas ball, and the mechanical notions of evolution constrained by its acceptance, have blocked generations of thinkers from reaching any valid conceptions about the origins of the earth. Dr. Steiner’s indications, based on exact supersensible perception, open all the necessary doors. What he has provided is in harmony with basic natural scientific findings. All this, in turn, reaches with illuminating power into some of the central riddles of ufology.

Dr. Steiner stated in his numerous lectures that lime formations are deposits of living organisms. Shellfish, snails, polyps and similar organisms have deposited the lime formations of the earth. Dr. Steiner made this observation some seventy years ago. Geochemical research in modern times progressively confirms Steiner’s statements. In a relatively recent incident bearing upon ufology , the origin of other earthly matter in life processes was elevated to an even more startling eminence. We reach forward from Dr. Rudolf Steiner in the first years of this century to Ivan T. Sanderson’s Uninvited Visitors for one instance worth a thousand.

Biologist-geologist Ivan T. Sanderson was among the scientists interested in ufology who believe that before we seek to understand extra-terrestrial life, we should try and better understand terrestrial life. That modern science is woefully derelict in this sphere, is evident from the incident he cites on page 99 of Uninvited Visitors. (Cowles Communications, Inc., New York, 1967.)

“A scientist in Germany was assigned after World War II to make certain surveys of the deep salt mines in Bavaria, where the Nazis had stashed art and other treasures that they had plundered from museums and collections all over Europe. This man, a biologist in its widest sense, happened to become interested in the salt itself, which was laid down under some overwarm sea about 200 million years ago. He took samples and analyzed them, and one of the things that startled him was that living things turned up in the resultant solutions. Naturally, he assumed that these were the product of contamination during the taking of the samples, or later in his laboratory, since all air is choked with such living things as spores and bacteria.

“However, he refined his techniques with every conceivable precaution, and still the living things appeared, until finally he was forced to the conclusion that they were resuscitated generations of creatures that had lived in the ancient sea and become fossilized along with the salt, to rest for millions of years before being ‘brought back to life.’ This bizarre experiment was subsequently tested by others, starting from scratch and using both their own and the original methods. Always the same answer.”

Limestone and subterranean salt, oil, coal and slate deposits are all produced out of living processes. Then why not the totality of the matter of which the earth itself consists? To the objection that azoic rocks have never been found to contain fossils, there is the work of British biochemist Morley Martin as an answer. Under conditions of total sterility he proved in the 1930s that animal forms exist in and can be awakened from azoic rocks. Such devastating findings wreak havoc upon the neurotic security of those whose whole world conception rests upon the opposite. Like Steiner, Reich, Drown, Abrams, Velikovsky and other genuine scientists, Morley Martin has been the victim of obscurantism.

Recognizing the epoch-making nature of Morley Martin’s discoveries, the late Meade Layne compiled an introductory brochure on the English biochemist’s work, and published it in July 1950 under the imprimatur of Borderland Sciences Research Association. It was entitled The Morley Martin Experiments and the Experiments of Dr. Charles W. Littlefield.

Morley Martin, by a series of manipulations in total sterility, caused to emerge in microscopic miniature, vertebrate forms such as we know, together with others which no longer exist. Morley Martin’s vigorous condensations and chemical transmutations reproduced these creatures, in his own words, “in the way they probably came out from the fire-mist or the gas of our nebula.” Under the microscope, trusted witnesses reported seeing vertebrates take shape within the protoplasm, with the outlines of limbs and claws following, then the heads and eyes. One crustacean developed its legs and then walked off the field of the microscope.

When Morley Martin died in 1938, he had published only one small brochure, The Reincarnation of Animal and Plant Life from Protoplasm Isolated from the Mineral Kingdom, which appeared in 1934. Renown awaits the enterprising young biochemist who treads this same pathway today, for the lesson of all such work — Morley Martin’s experiments, those of Dr. Littlefield and the earlier Andrew Crosse — is that the opposite of life is not death, but latency. Biogenesis is not the mystery that obscurantist high priests of official science would have their fellow humans believe.

Human experience and experimental results have thus advanced slowly to those conceptions of eternal life on earth first put forward in modern terms by the amazing Steiner. The inert matter of the earth has been precipitated out of the life processes of the earth itself, just as inert minerals appear when we kill any living organism. That is, the corpse becomes of the substance of the earth itself. The unanswerable question is really no longer “When did life appear on earth?”, but rather “When was there not life on earth?” The continued and dogmatic teaching in the universities of a world conception rooted in sterility is a fraud against the young. Ultimately, such lies will lead to revolt.

The concept of life being ever-present on earth is in no way upset or disturbed by geological evidence that certain mineral substances were once liquid. As long as we are strapped to mechanistic conceptions of the earth’s origin, we consider this onetime liquefaction of presently dense substances to have been due to colossal temperatures. Mechanistically, there is no way around this.

In our pro-Life viewpoint, we read our lessons directly from nature. We know that in biological processes within living organisms, substances are liquefied which, if they were external to the organism, would be solidly mineralized. Such processes go on continually in our own bodies, and especially in our digestion. All manner of “solid” substances are dissolved in protoplasm and in blood. The peculiar power and character of biological processes is exemplified in the vulgar television commercial that shows fabric in which a hole has been burned by “concentrated stomach acid.” The acid does not burn through the stomach, but is held in check by biological processes that are, at best, poorly understood.

Hydrochloric acid is formed in external nature by massive processes of volcanism -a happening that approaches in temperatures those applicable to the Kant-La Place ball-of-hot-gas theory. In the individual human being this acid is formed without our even being aware of it, at a modest 37° centigrade! Why do learned men avoid and evade the clear testimony of all manner of liquefaction in living processes? Wilhelm Reich has provided the answer to this chronic evasion of the essential and we will deal with this in due course.

Given the undoubted ability of organisms to liquefy otherwise solid substances, it is but a short step to grasping Steiner’s account of earlier epochs of the earth. One goes back not into sterility, but into an earth far more actively permeated with life than it is today. The farther one goes back, the more the earth seethes with life. Today’s earth has grown cosmically old and mineralized, like a human octogenarian. Steiner takes us back in time to progressively more active life forces, and hence we can entertain the idea of a liquid state and farther back a gaseous state as a teeming center of life, whose nature is quite different to present earth life.

This “backward progression” allows soul and spirit forces to enter the evolution of an earth constituted differently from the present earth. We can easily conceive of an epoch where all would consist of energy only. In modern times, we have a crude counterpart of this type of life in our plasmatic creatures that dwell in the atmosphere. My pictures are heat pictures, and they show living organisms.

With Anthroposophical knowledge, one works back through ever more active life processes. Soul and spirit are admitted. Ancient men discerned their workings in earlier epochs, and recorded their perceptions in what we now discard as myth. Kant-La Place starts with the moribund, cosmically old earth of today, and attempts to go back into deadness to find life. In Steiner’s conceptions, life and change are endemic. The mechanists are the misguided men who deny life and try to kill change — especially change in their own conceptions.

Radical as Steiner’s conceptions may seem, they actually do no violence to the facts natural science has determined concerning prior evolution. This must be seen as distinct from the judgements and theories attached to those facts. When Morley-Martin brought critters to life in miniature out of azoic rocks, it is only the prior assumption that those rocks predate life on earth that is demolished. Knowledge and understanding are thus advanced by such original empirical findings.

That particular discovery, given new force and merit by the correlative Bavarian salt-cave discoveries mentioned earlier, permits science to go forward and embrace new truths. The men who are troubled and disoriented by such findings are those whose neurotic security is anchored in the old theories and the old knowledge. Their eventual passage from the scene is a certainty.

Meanwhile, such people control natural science and its reception systems. They ensure that the living, vibrant youth embarking upon higher education is biased and deadened beyond redemption. The price of getting a living in science is compliance with established practices and knowledge. Although sound when properly applied, this principle has been misused and is now a major instrumentality of intellectual corruption.

At every hand, therefore, the real innovators, the real discoverers and trailblazers work outside the scientific establishment. They have no option. Much of the fury of today’s young arises from an intuitive sense of right and wrong about what is taught. The discoveries made by the scientific mavericks of this century are positively staggering. Every one of them is a hammer blow at the foundations of the old order.

Consider the dating techniques possible with radioactive carbon, for example. Immense authority attaches to these dating techniques. When Dr. Wilhelm Reich discovered the orgone energy, he also discovered in subsequent work that concentrations of this energy were capable of so decisively altering the half-life of radioactive substances as to corrupt the dating process completely. An earth more alive than at present would be an earth more intensely permeated with or- gone energy -life energy -and thus all those lovely linear projections of the mechanists back into the past go straight down the drain! Reich’s work in this area will be enlarged upon later, but it is cited here as an example of yet another empirical assault on scientific views that are mere beliefs.

Basic natural science will inevitably follow the lead given by the maverick innovators, equipping itself gradually with the new modes of thinking and cognition that at this time are congenital talents of the mavericks. A new empiricism will, in time, spring up to verify and objectify the fruits of such expanded cognition. Dr. Steiner was a sort of archetype of the scientist of the future, with the old primeval wisdom living within him in harmony with modern natural science. Man needs both scientific method and new access to cosmic processes in the age that came upon him with the UFOs.

The primeval wisdom should not be taken lightly or dismissed as mere myth. Archaeological research continually makes startling discoveries of the human past. Aided by such modern techniques as paleomagnetism and archeomagnetism, the human past is continually being moved farther back. Powerful cultures are uncovered by modern techniques. In 1967, for example, the Hohokam culture in the American southwest was unearthed. Suddenly, it was learned that Americans before Christ had learned such amazing arts as the acid etching of ornaments and artifacts, and had created masterful irrigation systems. Every decade verifies the presence of intelligent humans on earth farther and farther back into the remote past before written records.

The artifacts of such remote cultures bespeak a more spiritualized man than walks the earth today. These men of old were not sundered from cosmic forces and powers, and they precipitated their perceptions of these cosmic forces and beings into the media then available, such as clay and wood. Today, we will proceed with similar precipitations, except that our media will be films of all kinds, videotapes, and wonders soon to be born. In all these spheres of thought and work, Steiner’s indications earn new authority via scientific investigation. On every hand, what comes forth has intimate relevance to ufology.

Functioning with a different mode of consciousness, ancient human beings perceived and thought differently from us. We cannot think their thoughts today. A significant point must now be advanced. In this book we have shown how modern photochemistry, in combination with some knowledge of etherian physics and occult science, has objectified a range of form adjacent to and probably interpenetrating our own. This range of form contains typical UFO shapes.

Surely it is not a wild surmise or a preposterous notion that ancient, closer-to-the-spiritual humans might have directly perceived such forms -lost to untrained modern consciousness and perceptions. There is powerful evidence that ancient people did perceive such forms. The evidence consists of an indelible and comprehensive record of their perceptions -side by side with other records that in themselves verify what accurate observers and highly attuned artists these ancients were.

This evidence is in the form of cave drawings found in south-western France and Cantabrian Spain, dating from 30,000 to 10,000 BC. There are some seventy-two of these painted caverns, and the hundreds of drawings of mammoths, bison, horses, ibex and other species are unequivocal proof that the Stone Age men who carved, painted and sculpted these forms were vibrantly functional in those aspects of soul and spiritual life that sustain and inspire art. Truly, it is an astonishing record. Amid the animals appears a full spectrum of UFO shapes that might well have been lifted directly from an official NICAP publication.

The distinguished French mathematician, Aime Michel, internationally renowned also as a serious UFO researcher, has dealt with this incredible Paleolithic art exhibit at length, in an article entitled Paleolithic UFO Shapes. Published in the November-December 1969 issue of the Flying Saucer Review, the article is required reading for all serious students of ufology. Particularly is its content required by those who naively believe that UFOs have been involved in earth life only in relatively modern times.

Pointing out that we have no direct knowledge of the 700 or 800 human generations responsible for this art, the brilliant Michel emphasizes that these masterpieces are still today numbered among the high peaks of world art. Independently of what I have set down here regarding the perceptions of ancient men, Aime Michel describes his own reactions on visiting the caves:

“Entering the cave at Lascaux is like visiting the Parthenon or Sistine Chapel (emphasis added). Every time I have been there I have seen the same impressive spectacle: the crowd of visitors, chattering, passes into semi-darkness. And then the walls are lit up, and suddenly all is silence: 15,000 years after the deaths of those who painted them, the pictures still produce the effect of a sublime presence that imposes respect for its genius, and prompts us to meditation and contemplation. The men who fashioned these masterpieces may lie beneath the dust of the centuries; but at the very first glance we understand that, if there is something in us that escapes death, that something is there, on that white stone, and it will remain there until the end of the world.”

Aime Michel is that rarest of scientific thinkers, the formally trained and accomplished man whose feeling world remains vitally alive. Thus we may see from the above quotation that the distinguished Frenchman was able to come into full contact with the spirit behind this Paleolithic art. The scientist in him, however, does not dream or lose vigilance for a moment. Michel immediately raises — as a scientist surely must — the question of the degree of confidence that can be placed in the accuracy of these cave drawings. Since the animal forms are as well known to modern man as to the Paleolithic artists — and they appear intermingled with the UFO forms — the accuracy of both is self-evident. Says Michel:

“A mere glance gives us the answer. It is art of an admirably representational quality. The painters at Lascaux, Rouffignac and Altamira possessed a sureness of vision and of execution that is comparable to the great painters of the Renaissance, and that, by its realism and its movement and at times even its humor, is greatly superior to all that has been bequeathed to us by the Classical and Near Eastern worlds of antiquity.”

The unknown objects portrayed by the Paleolithic artists can therefore be regarded as accurate recordings of what those artists perceived. Discs, doughnuts, large fusiform shapes accompanied by lines of small discs a la Adamski, ventlas with ladders, ventlas trailing vapors, and objects closely resembling America’s Own Apollo Lunar Landing Module (circa 1969) are all there. In short, it is a collection of shapes indistinguishable from many UFOs reported and photographed in the 20th century.

That ancient men saw and drew UFOs can therefore hardly be doubted, although as Michel points out in his article, it is only the UFO explanation of these otherwise unknown forms that is fantastic to the orthodox mind. These retarded spirits prefer eternal enigmas to explanations that will bring better understanding of life processes. Better sterility and deadness, with its illusory safety, than life from space perceived and recorded by ancient men.

This collection of Paleolithic UFO art, and its clear implications, leads us back to one of the original postulates in this book. When heretofore invisible organisms and other objects started to become visible sporadically with the electricalization of civilization — and especially with the advent of high-powered pulsed radiation — we were forced to consider a cardinal point: if invisible but present now, then why not invisible and present always? Expanding human consciousness and changing human cognition will lead inevitably to the acceptance of this central truth. By contrast, the ships-from-other-planets theory, with its two-plus-two reasoning and no demand to stretch either consciousness or our means of knowing things, hardly seems worthy of the enlightened human mind. Paleolithic man knew UFOs were here.

Dr. Rudolf Steiner has also provided a comprehensive outline of etherian physics -an area of thought without whose content ufology cannot possibly move forward. Major mysteries of terrestrial life, as well as fundamental relationships between man and microcosm and the macrocosm of which he is both part and product, may be gradually understood via etherian physics. Without such knowledge, UFOs will continue not only as a mystery to mankind, but also as a prolific source of illusion.

The most succinct and comprehensive presentation of etherian physics from the Anthroposophical point of view has been compiled by Dr. Guenther Wachsmuth, Rudolf Steiner’s biographer for the final twenty-five years of his life, and also his secretary. Dr. Wachsmuth’s monumental book, Etheric Formative Forces in Cosmos, Earth and Man, was published by the Anthroposophic Press of New York in 1932. One of the masterpieces of esoteric writing, the acquisition of this book is worth whatever effort the student must expend. As might be expected, it is out of print, although thus far no government has ordered it burned. Systematic study of this book will provide the keys to the shapes and forms of all natural objects -including UFOs. Fortified by this knowledge, the ufologist will be able to “read” correctly the signs in the skies, and in this way find his way around popular dogmas.

In order to make the subtle but important distinction between the ethers and the formative forces, researchers should also acquire and study The Four Ethers, by Ernst Marti, MD.* This small but invaluable book supplements, augments, extends and clarifies the presentation of Dr. Wachsmuth.

True to the innate proclivities of mechanistic thought – which embraces immobile, stationary and fixed entities with strangling enthusiasm -most conventional thought has held the ether to be stationary .Ether is thought of only in the singular in official science. In more recent times, concepts of a mobile ether have gained wider currency, with this medium seen to participate actively in processes of motion essential to any valid conception of cosmic workings.

The motion of the ether is beyond question to anyone who has extended his powers of cognition beyond the arbitrary boundaries set by conventional philosophy. Such persons, including myself, perceive basic etheric workings directly in the perception of physical force fields around living organisms and in such obvious external happenings as the flimmerings that are perpetually present in both the day and night sky. All such persons accept out of their own experience that what Dr. Steiner and Dr. Reich say of the ethers is true, namely, that they move a priori.

The ether moves, without doubt, and acceptance of this premise has opened to man the control of planetary weather, of which more later. Steiner and Wachsmuth present the ether as seven-fold, and four essential ethers reveal them-selves in physical space-time processes, according to these two brilliant men. The four ethers are:

1 .Warmth ether

2. Light ether

3. Chemical ether (AKA sound ether and number ether)

4. Life ether

These four ethers have evolved phylogenetically out of each other, so that we may consider that warmth ether has evolved into light ether, light ether into chemical ether, and chemical ether into life ether. Empirical findings arising out of Wilhelm Reich’s discoveries already partially confirm this. For example, orgone energy — which may be equated with the chemical ether — can be made to luminate in vacuo and in nature through weather control apparatus. Orgone accumulators literally create warmth “out of nothing”. Thus, light and warmth are contained in orgone energy, i.e., chemical ether. Etherian physics is thus already demonstrating empirically its own theoretical basis.

Thus it is seen that the characteristic of the mutual relationship between the ethers postulated by Wachsmuth and Steiner — that the more highly evolved ether always contains in itself the properties of the ether(s) from which it evolved — has already been externally demonstrated. Each “new” ether, however, is a new formative force with its own innate activities and properties. Understanding this relationship, and living with it, naturally requires a mobility of thought which contemporary higher education usually extinguishes.

Life ether contains in itself the other three, chemical ether contains in itself the preceding two, out of which evolution has taken place. On page 40 in his book, Dr. Wachsmuth states: “Only when, through having penetrated into the substance-world, it has been modified, may a higher ether, for instance, be reduced as it were to the action of a lower. Warmth ether from which the other ether forces have evolved has in turn come into being out of purely spiritual states outside of time and space.”

This at once gives us a theoretical link to earlier states of evolution, and to the gradual condensation of our world through countless millennia. The glowing gas ball of Kant- La Place, as it were, had an illustrious and long prior etheric history. Dr. Wachsmuth’s statements regarding evolution of the ethers themselves are open today to direct empirical proof in some areas, such as is provided by Dr. Wilhelm Reich’s orgone energy accumulator. By perpetually producing heat “out of nothing” it directly contradicts the Second Law of Thermodynamics.* From the point of view of etherian physics, the orgone accumulator squeezes the warmth ether out of concentrated chemical ether. Incomprehensible to the old knowledge, Reich’s invention yields to the basic theories of etherian physics.

* The Second Law of Thermodynamics is a statistical law, inasmuch as no exception has ever been found to it until Reich devised the orgone accumulator. The rooting of the Second Law is now no longer statistical, but neurotic, since the orgone accumulator proves its basic contentions false in certain arrangements of materials.

Ingenious and enterprising young men will carry all this forward. Unlike the Old Knowledge, the comprehensive structure of etherian physics provides them with a chart for their experimental work. There can be little doubt that the science of tomorrow will penetrate these principles and bring forth a new technology — indeed, it has already begun.

The four ethers as carriers as carriers of formative forces, have the following characteristics:

1. The warmth manifests in heat, which etherian physics ** regards as the fourth state of matter, and not a mere mode of motion affecting the other three states. My photographs of the atmospheric bioforms could not have been made without heat-sensitive film. We have recorded animate things extant and conscious in this fourth state of matter. These objects were photographed in situ, and are an adventurer’s contribution to a valid new conception of heat as the fourth state of matter. The warmth ether tends to produce objects of spherical form, i.e., it shapes matter into globes. I have more than my share of globular critters on both stills and movies.

2. The light ether reaches the direct physical perception of man as the normal light of the terrestrial environment. When light ether acts unimpeded in nature, it produces triangular forms. In field experiments with the cloudbuster, triangular forks of lightning have been produced on many occasions, in another break-in to the experimental side of etherian physics made possible by Reich’s discoveries.

3. The chemical ether or sound ether, also known as the number ether, is active in chemical processes of all kinds, and also transmits sound to the human ear -the tones of the audible world around us. Sound has tremendous formative power, well-illustrated externally by the Chladni sound figures. In these experiments, dust laid upon a tightly stretched diaphragm adopts varying forms in accordance with varying tones.

Physically audible tones nevertheless are an infinitesimal part of the total tone activity vibrating everywhere in space, the waves produced by the forces of chemical ether . Sound or chemical ether gives form to the natural things of our world. In nature, the chemical ether, when working unimpeded, produces half-moon forms. Centripetal in action, it is interlocked with all the phenomena of cold and contraction.

4. The life ether is the most highly evolved of the four, and also the most complex and diverse in its essential qualities. Life ether is radiated to the earth by the sun. Like the chemical ether, it is a suctional, centripetal force -a force that draws inwards. The formative power of the life ether, when working unimpeded in substance, manifests in the square shape.

Each of the four ethers manifests naturally in its own color. The colors are:

Warmth ether – Red

Light ether – Yellow

Chemical ether – Blue

Life ether – Purple-violet

Each of the four ethers has a natural spatial tendency. These spatial tendencies are:

Warmth Ether – Radial, expansive, centrifugal

Light Ether – Radial, expansive, centrifugal

Chemical Ether – Suctional, contractive, centripetal

Life Ether – Suctional, contractive, centripetal

Each of the four ethers manifests in its own natural state of matter. These states are:

Warmth Ether – Heat

Light Ether – Gaseous or aeriform

Chemical Ether – Liquid or fluid

Life Ether – Solid

Anyone who has wondered why or how different colored flowers of the same type come into being should inspect not just the color of the flowers, but the shape of the leaves. The formative signature of the appropriate ether will be found in the differing shapes of the leaves, i.e., the yellow flower’s leaf will have a more triangular form than the red flower of the same kind. Try it and see.

Before proceeding further with this sketch of fundamental etherian physics, a practical observation may be made here that is not without its fascination. The majority of the photographs of UFOs made by me through the years, using heat-sensitive film, reveal spheroidal objects. In the 1958 motion pictures made by Dr. Woods and myself, the highly mobile forms captured were essentially spheroidal. Thus do we see how etherian physics, even in this elementary state, provides new tools with which to evaluate and study UFO photographs from any source. They are, after all, and as Meade Layne said over four decades ago, “ether ships” that we are pursuing — those of them that are ships.

Another point arises from the obvious and lawful connection of UFOs to etherian physics. A purported photographic expert who is without expertise in etherian physics should recognize that if he wants to evaluate photos of ether ships, he must acquire and apply a knowledge of etherian physics. His valid conventional experience is not undermined by such knowledge, but rather, made amenable to both extension and expansion.

Etherian physics sees the earth as a gigantic living organism. Like all living things, the earth “breathes.” The planetary breathing cycle is diurnal. Chemical ether is inhaled and exhaled by the earth, with marked and measurable effects upon the atmosphere. Many of the central mysteries of meteorology are bound up in this breathing process.

The earth and its atmosphere consist of four spherical, concentric and interpenetrating spheres. In each of these spheres, one of the four kinds of ether is predominant. Light ether and warmth ether function mainly in the atmosphere and heat mantle of the earth. The chemical ether and life ether predominate in the liquid and solid matter of the earth respectively. These distributions of forces and their influences are the normal, primary terrestrial state.

Let alone, the earth would quickly stratify these ether-spheres and tend toward fixity. The sun is the chief force in chaoticizing these ethers. By constantly roiling these ethers and the formative forces of which they are the carriers, the sun produces their dynamic intermingling and interpenetration, out of which comes life with all its rhythms and diverse forms.

During the night, the earth re-establishes something akin to the normal primary distribution of the ethers. Contraction, stillness and chill characterize nocturnal conditions. Human life sinks to its lowest ebb during the night, especially between midnight and dawn. The human being thereby reflects, in his inert and unconscious organism, the quiescent condition of that portion of the planet upon which he is living. Then comes the morning, the sun’s influence, and the remanifestation of the life forces.

The old cosmologies saw everywhere in creation the deeds of all manner of divinities, the spirits of the ethers. The immortal Kepler, kinsman and antecedent of the modern etherian physicist, saw the universe as the body of a gigantic spiritual being, so that to Kepler it was a living cosmos. Nineteenth-century science expunged from its rubric all such concepts. The physical-material was considered sufficient, so immense was its impact on the human mind with the rise of measurement. Goethe’s conception of the earth- breathing process, physically verified in the morning and evening “double wave” of pressure at the barometer, was among the brilliant insights into natural workings ignored at this time. The stampede for mechanical interpretations of nature trampled under all pioneer efforts at functional enlightenment.

The major etheric force involved in the breathing processes of the earth as a living organism is the chemical ether. We shall find ourselves intimately concerned with this ether in understanding UFOs, not only at this break-in stage, but also for many decades to come. Apparatus has been designed by certain earthmen to concentrate and manipulate this particular ether, and we had best therefore understand its basic action in the daily life of the earth.

Many mysteries of the earth, atmosphere and weather become accessible through this knowledge and the apparatus based on its application. Beginning at dawn, the planet earth exhales the chemical ether into the atmosphere, the latter being, as we have seen in our preliminary tabulation, the normal sphere of activity of the light ether. All the sensory testimony of the dawn, sunrise and immediately post-sunrise period confirm the exhalation process. A cardinal one: water vapor arising from the surface of lakes and rivers.

This exhalation process continues until the noon period, by which time the exhaled chemical ether extends up into the heights of the light ether sphere. Barometric pressure reaches an obvious minimum. The earth organism, like anything living, then inhales the chemical ether back into itself, completing the inhalation process just before sunrise.

The moisture-producing, fluid-influencing chemical ether is responsible for such seemingly disparate phenomena as morning and evening fogs and mist, fluctuations in soil humidity, barometric pressure changes, increases and diminutions of potential gradient, and the rising and falling of plant sap.

All these happenings, and many others, are not isolated, discrete phenomena. Man has made them so. In truth, these phenomena are functionally unified by virtue of being produced by the macro telluric breathing process. Those who think today in terms of “anti-gravity” — a term that exemplifies man’s brain-bound, point-based consciousness — may see plant sap rise and fall daily in billions of plants. Relating this enormous lift to a force capable of lifting a spaceship should not be beyond the capacity of even a modest mentality.

Most of the riddles of atmospheric physics can be understood through the earth-breathing process, and the role played in this process by the chemical ether. Dr. Wachsmuth summarizes these electrostatic, fluidic, barometric, thermic and biological factors on pages 45-56 of his book, written in 1932. In the interim, virtually all of this has been made empirically accessible through the discoveries of Dr. Wilhelm Reich. Dr. Wachsmuth’s book should be studied today with this revolutionary fact in mind.

Dr. Reich discovered the chemical ether as a physical force in 1939-40. He called this force orgone energy, but etherian physicists will find in Reich’s empirically-established properties of orgone energy the traditional properties of chemical ether. The blue color, the affinity for the fluid state of matter and the ability to produce thermic, barometric, electrostatic and biological effects are all there. What Dr. Wachsmuth has written has therefore long since come down to the empirical level, and the scientist who does not today understand at least some of these functions is simply out of date. A new generation of young physicists, strong enough to break with the Old Knowledge, will explore these things fully in the next few decades.

The mechanistic notion that the earth is a dead ball of matter has paralyzed creative thought in official science for generations. The earth is a living organism. Breathing processes are carried out diurnally, as a terrestrial, organic function, only partly dependent upon cosmic intervention. The endless cycle of fixity and chaoticization is what gives rise to, and also sustains, the life processes of the planet.

The side of the earth remote from the sun naturally contracts and the four etheric spheres tend to stratify. Striving toward the sun, living organisms from the plant kingdom upward to man contribute to a mighty etheric torque that literally turns the dark side of the earth back toward the sun. Under the sun’s influence, the etheric spheres that became stratified during the night are once again brought to chaos. This is a crude sketch of the etheric formative forces and their diverse roles in living organisms, including the planet Earth itself, and the basic source of the earth’s rotation.

The earth may thus be seen rotating behind an etheric envelope that moves around the earth slightly faster than the earth itself. Dr. Wilhelm Reich, in his discovery of the atmospheric orgone energy, independently determined the presence of this basic west-to-east movement. He called it the orgone envelope of the earth. In his time, he was called mad and paranoid, but not long after his death cameras aboard the satellites were photographing the envelope, while mystified scientists speculated on what it was.

Reich likened the earth, in its spinning progress through the heavens, to a ball being spun by a stream of water moving faster than itself. From this perceptive description — originating wholly in his own needle-sharp observational powers and unconnected with any esoteric sources — Dr. Reich opened the pathway to weather control as a reality of this age. This work is now far along toward providing and perpetuating a life-giving environment, but everything that is done to press it forward is at the risk of the life and liberty of the pioneers. America is a hostile environment for such work, not innately, but for reasons that will become all too clear in the next few chapters.

The etheric earth is the driving power, and induces the earth’s rotation. Out of the etheric formative forces and their workings on matter come the colors and forms of all living creatures. From the highest to the lowest, all are ruled by these forces. The ethers and the formative forces give rise to the grand design of nature. Artists are the only general class of humans to have at least partial access to this grand panorama. The full perception and understanding of these forces require the use of untapped, unutilized and latent powers of the human mind.

The scientist of the future will perceive, understand and work with all of it, just as Steiner indicated. Living processes will be paramount. On this account, it should be no surprise that the basic technical breakthrough into this realm came from a scientist who was a biologist in the highest and best sense — Dr. Wilhelm Reich. He found the pathway from psychology to biology, and in the process made the study of the etheric formative forces possible empirically — the anchorage for the new kind of thinking that is upon mankind.

The scientist of the future will not direct his energies to determining what a rose is, or of what a rose consists. Rather will his labors be invested in determining how the rose arises. The question of the future is not “What is a rose?” but “How does a rose come about?” Man is about to ask, at long last, how a rose achieves its particular form and color. The scientist of the future will “read” the expression of the formative forces in all living things — as a determined handful of them do today. The challenge of etherian physics is immense and thrilling.

Ufology will undoubtedly be a key aspect of tomorrow’s sciences, since it is a bioenergetic wellspring from which much New Knowledge will flow. UFO investigators of our own time cannot pass beyond the bewildering, enigma-ridden periphery of their subject because they have not thus far tackled etherian physics. Most evidence of UFO presence gathered to date can be interpreted accurately only with an understanding of etherian physics. Here lies the key to spaceship technology and to the new communications — the means by which man will enter into commerce with other-world entities.

Gifted people have already penetrated far deeper into some of these mysteries than most people interested in UFOs even suspect. The reward of these bold ones has been uniformly depressing: branding as charlatans, crackpots and quacks. Dr. Steiner’s work — the miniscule portion of it described herein — helps us to understand and accept on new ground the work of these innovators.

The loneliness of the gifted individuals who left the beaten path and went off on their own across new frontiers has been appalling. Later generations will appreciate their sacrifices. In the new realms they penetrated — usually unbeknown to them — lurk the subhuman, nonhuman and the superhuman intelligences that now reach into and play upon human evolution with ever-increasing force and purpose. We will show that man will need more to survive this challenge than the fraud and flummery of contemporary scientism.

These aphorisms belong to a level of consciousness where thought and music unite. They are seeds which may develop into a comprehen­sive system of philosophy while, at the same time, they are a substance bringing sustenance to the soul. It is not necessary that the reader should understand them. He should use them as focal points for medi­tation and permit their meaning to develop in his consciousness as a plant grows from seed. They are symbols first and concepts after­ward. As concepts they illumine the way for understanding. As symbols they open the door to the realization of that Reality which cannot be felt or thought.

Consciousness-without-an-object is.

Before objects were, Consciousness-without-an-object is.

Though objects seem to exist, Consciousness-without-an-object is.

When objects vanish, yet remaining through all unaffected, Consciousness- without-an-object is.

Outside of Consciousness-without-an-object nothing is.

Within the bosom of Consciousness-without-an-object lies the power of awareness which projects objects.

When objects are projected the power of awareness as subject is pre­supposed, yet Consciousness-without-an-object remains unchanged.

When consciousness of objects is born then likewise consciousness of absence of objects arises.

Consciousness of objects is the Universe.

Consciousness of absence of objects is Nirvana,

Within Consciousness-without-an-object lie both the Universe and Nirvana, yet to Consciousness-without-an-object these two are the same.

Within Consciousness—without-an—object lies the seed of Time.

When awareness cognizes Time then Knowledge of Timelessness is born.

To be aware of Time is to be aware of the Universe, and to be aware of the Universe is to be aware of Time.

To realize Timelessness is to attain Nirvana.

But for Consciousness-without-an-object there is no difference between Time and Timelessness.

Within Consciousness-without-an-object lies the seed of Law.

When awareness cognizes the world-containing Space then Knowledge of the Spatial Void is born.

To be aware of the world-containing Space is to be aware of the Universe of Objects.

To realize the Spatial Void is to awaken to Nirvanic Consciousness.

But for Consciousness-without-an-object there is no difference between the world-containing Space and the Spatial Void.

Within Consciousness—without-an-object lays the seed of Law,

When consciousness of objects is born the Law is invoked as a Force tending ever toward Equilibrium,

All objects exist as tensions within Consciousness-without-an-object that tend ever to flow into their own complements or others.

The ultimate effect of the flow of all objects into their complements is mutual cancellation in complete Equilibrium,

Consciousness of the field of tensions is the Universe,

Consciousness of Equilibrium is Nirvana,

But for Consciousness-without-an-object there is neither tension nor Equilibrium,

The state of tension is the state of ever-becoming. Ever-becoming is endless-dying.

So the state of consciousness-of-objects is a state of ever-renewing promises that pass into death at the moment of fulfillment.

Thus when consciousness is attached to objects the agony of birth and death never ceases.

In the state of Equilibrium where birth cancels death the deathless Bliss of Nirvana is realized.

But Consciousness-without-an-object is neither agony or bliss.

Out of the Great Void, which is Consciousness—without-an-object, the Universe is creatively projected.

The Universe as experienced is the created negation that ever resists.

The creative act is bliss, the resistance unending pain.

Endless resistance is the Universe of experience; the agony of crucifixion,

Ceaseless creativeness is Nirvana, the Bliss beyond all human conceiving.

But for Consciousness-without-an-object there is neither creativeness nor resistance.

Ever-becoming and ever-ceasing-to-be is endless action.

Whenever-becoming cancels the ever-ceasing-to-be then Rest is realized. Ceaseless action is the Universe,

Unending Rest is Nirvana,

But Consciousness-without-an-object is neither action nor rest.

When Consciousness is attached to objects it is restricted through the forms imposed by the world—containing Space, by Time and by Law,

When consciousness is disengaged from objects Liberation from the forms of the world-containing Space, of Time and of Law is attained.

Attachment to objects is consciousness bound within the Universe. Liberation from such attachment is the state of unlimited Nirvanic Freedom.

But Consciousness-.without-an-object is neither bondage nor Liberation.

Consciousness-without-an-object may be symbolized by a SPACE which is unaffected by the presence or absence of objects; for which there is neither Time nor Timelessness; neither a world-containing Space nor a Spacial Void; neither tension nor Equilibrium; neither resistance nor creativeness; neither agony or Bliss; neither action nor Rest; and Neither restriction or Freedom.

As the great SPACE is not to be identified with the Universe so neither is it to be identified with any self.

The great SPACE is not God₉ but the comprehender of all Gods as well as of all lesser creatures.

The great SPACE, or Consciousness-without-an-object, is the sole Reality upon which all objects and all selves depend and derive their existence.

The great SPACE comprehends both the Path of the Universe and the Path to Nirvana.

Beside the great SPACE there is none other.

Concerning Opposition Aroused by Sages

Why do the words of a Mystic or a Sage so often arouse such severe antagonism? Take, for instance, poems like the “Leaves of Grass” by Walt Whitman. They have aroused storms of criticism as well as enthusiastic ad­miration. Yet, on the other hand, readers of all sorts generally are not troubled by the weird meanderings of the written words of an insane mind. This reveals the fact that it is not simply the unconventionality of the form that stirs the antagonism. Now these storms of criti­cism are really tributes. They indicate, at least, an un­conscious recognition of Power in the words of the Mystic or the Sage. The complacency of the forces of Mara— to employ a Buddhist term—has been struck a vital blow, and this arouses resistance. But in all such engagements, Mara is doomed to defeat, for the Power that has burst forth is united with the inexhaustible Fount. The only effective defense for Mara would be complete indifference. For if Mara causes any man to fight the Light, that man, sooner or later, is conquered by the Light and then be­comes One with It. St. Paul affords us the classic ex­ample. He fought earnestly and sincerely so that quickly the Light conquered him and claimed him for Its own. From the standpoint of Mara there is nothing more dangerous than an effort to slay a Sage or Mystic. The latter, in Their real Natures are invulnerable and, in the end, win to Themselves their would-be slayers.

Nuclear technology of death from the tribe of Einstein, Oppenheimer, Sakharov and Teller was deployed in the desert in July of 1945 at Alamogordo, New Mexico. Within two years of the advent of this realization of the death formula E = MC², the living planet Earth was being reconnoitered by unknown numbers of aliens whose origins, purposes and intents remain a mystery. Whether as guardians, brothers, predators, scavengers, parasites, landlords or foemen – the space creatures have been observed (along with their craft) continuously since the beginning of atomic explosions on Earth.

Not proving (there is no “proof”) a causal relationship between atomic explosions on Earth and the advent of UFO sightings, the coincidental relationship is there. It is “proved” that atomic explosions begin to occur in July of 1945. It is “proved” that reports of observations of flying saucers and other UFOs are being received in unprecedented numbers by the “authorities” commencing no later than June of 1947.

Let’s look at an experiment which had as its goal the relationship between the living energy of life and the nuclear technology of death. To possibly utilize the effects of Orgone Energy upon the human organism as an antidote to nuclear radiation sickness was ostensibly the goal of the Oranur Experiment. (Oranur = Orgone Anti-Nuclear).

Friday, January 5, 1951: Wilhelm Reich M.D. puts one milligram of pure radium inside a 20 layer Orgone Energy Accumulator. For five hours the radium remains inside the life energy charging device. During the next seven days the process is repeated for one hour per day; the one milligram of pure radium is placed inside the 20 layer Orgone Accumulator. On Friday, January 12, the radium was removed from the Orgone charging device after only one half hour and the experiment was stopped

It was on the last day of the experiment that the most dramatic effect occurred. The observers were outside the student’s laboratory where the metal lined Orgone Room housing the powerful 20 layer Orgone Energy Accumulator was located. While one experimental milligram of pure radium served as a control and was kept far away in an unused building on Reich’s 280 acre farm; the other milligram of pure radium was placed inside the life energy charging device. We must remember that there was a war going on, the Korean War, and Reich and his associates were conducting this research partly in response to the threat of a nuclear conflict demanding some sort of antidote to radiation sickness. Therefore the experiment had as its goal the discovery of a possible anti-nuclear property of the newly discovered Life Energy.

The “normal” background count of “radioactivity” at Reich’s laboratory in Western Maine where a dozen people lived and worked was 30 – 50 counts per minute measured on the big 4096 Tracerlab Autoscaler. The background of radioactivity within an Orgone Accumulator measured with a portable SU-5 Tracerlab Survey Meter, type 6C5, was 40 – 70 cpm. In other words, with no nuclear material present, the concentration of Life Energy within a charging device caused the Geiger Counter to give a higher reading; about 40 % higher.

Once the Oranur Experiment had started; once the concentrated Life Energy had been exposed to the radioactive nuclear material – the background count at Reich’s laboratory climbed to approx. 80 cpm and would not immediately subside even when the nuclear material was removed from the Orgone Accumulator.

The radioactivity of a one milligram unit of radium had been calibrated at 16,000 cpm (8.3 Roentgens per hour). This was done in New York City, away from the highly charged atmosphere of Reich’s setup near Rangeley, Maine. The two units of Radium arrived on Jan. 5, 1951 and immediately they were measured unshielded at one centimeter distance and gave a reading of 254,760 cpm in the highly charged atmosphere near the various Orgone Accumulators. One milligram unit was secured as a control and not exposed further to the charging effect of the Orgone devices. The other milligram was placed inside the 20 layer Orgone Accumulator in the metal lined Orgone Room in the student’s laboratory. While the radium was within the charging device, accurate measurement was not possible because the instrument, the SU-5 Survey Meter would either race right off the scale or go completely dead. Away from the active experiment, the instrument resumed normal operation.

The fateful Friday, January 12 – again the milligram of pure radium is placed inside the Life Energy device and again the observers feel the amplified radiation effects: severe nausea, loss of equilibrium, pressure in the forehead, sensations of fainting, severe headache, hot and cold flashes, severe belching: all these symptoms were observed and experienced by the one dozen or so physicians and technicians present during the 5 month course of the experiment. Additionally each observer was affected by a recurrence of any old or dormant injury or disease condition varying according to each individual’s weakest spot. It was as if the effect of the reaction of the concentrated Life Energy to the nuclear irritant was to attack each living organism in its weakest area (a converse relationship to the observed pattern of the effect of a “normal” Orgone Accumulator which seemed to strengthen or benefit the weak areas within the Organism; of course for our purposes there is no healing, beneficial or medical implication here).

The last time that the radium was placed inside the 20 layer Accumulator was to prove so dramatic that for fear of possible consequences, the experiment was stopped. The observers (Wilhelm Reich, Dr. Simon Tropp & others) were standing outside in the cold afternoon of January 12. They could see through the large picture windows the atmosphere inside the student’s lab become clouded within minutes after they had placed the unshielded milligram of radium inside the Life Energy charger. The clouded atmosphere was starting to move visibly and was shining blue and purple 1 The men became quite ill from nausea, loss of balance, cramps in the stomach – all this from one milligram of radium over 300 feet distant. Never before had symptoms of radiation sickness been so strong or had they been felt at such a great distance from the physical setup of the experiment.

The experiment was stopped in that the radioactive material was no longer placed inside the Life Energy charging device. The effects from the experiment continued and they intensified. It was quite unbearable to be near any Orgone Accumulator on the premises. It was as if the Oranur effect had spread and affected all of the Life Energy charging devices located at Reich’s extensive laboratory comprising two large and several smaller buildings. All of the Orgone devices exhibited exorbitantly high Geiger counter readings and produced symptoms of radiation sickness in nearby observers. A large batch of 30 experimental mice died from exposure to this Orgone Anti-Nuclear effect even though the mice were never physically close to arty nuclear material. Thorough autopsies on the mice revealed a leukemia-like blood picture.

The reaction seemed to be self-sustaining and was spreading. In response to the severity of the Oranur effect, all of the Orgone Accumulators were physically dismantled and their component parts were separated. The metal lined Orgone Room was dismantled. This measure of turning off the Orgone Accumulators (there is no switch to an Orgone device); this dismantling of the Orgone devices seemed to reduce the background counts of radioactivity from their levels of 80 cpm and above. It was noticed that reassembling even one Orgone charging device would immediately cause the background radiation measurements to approximately double. The experimental radium was secured within its 1/2” lead shield and placed inside a 4” steel and concrete safe located in a small wooden building some distance from the main laboratory.

What had been learned from this experiment? Basically, the presence of a stong concentration of Orgone Energy seems to amplify and magnify the radiation from a nuclear source. The New York Times reported on February 3, 1951 of an Atomic Energy Commission announcement of an increase in background radiation comprising an area of 600 miles in radius with its approximate center located Northern New England. It is likely that Reich’s Oranur Experiment with one milligram of radium had affected an area of 1,130,900 square miles.

On April 15, Reich decided to check on the experimental one milligram of radium which was still housed in its 1/2” lead shield inside the 4” thick steel and concrete safe. At a distance of 40 centimeters from the safe wall the reading was a fantastic 20,000 cpm on the SU-5 Survey meter. Reich was fearful of the radium and the continuing Oranur effect. He placed a group of mice in a cage quite near the safe housing the radium and waited for several days. The experimental mice remained in perfect health even though the radiation counts were abnormally high. It was as if the Oranur effect had changed and was no longer harmful even though the Geiger counter gave high readings.

Now Reich made a daring move that was to yield a rich harvest of new knowledge: He opens the safe and takes a measurement of the interior space inside the safe – the reading is over 100,000 cpm. He removed the milligram of radium from the steel and concrete safe and rushed it to the main laboratory. Here he measured it with the big and sensitive 4096 Tracerlab Autoscaler with a countertube of a mica window thickness of 2.3 mg/cm² as opposed to the SU-5 Survey Meter with its countertube of a mica window thickness of 30 mg/cm² wall thickness. (This means the 4096 Autoscaler was approx ten times more sensitive than the SU-5 Survey Meter) At a distance of one centimeter with no shielding the milligram of radium gave a reading of only 30,000 cpm! To explain this puzzling observation it was slowly realized that the 4” steel and concrete safe acted as an Orgone Accumulator itself due to its layering of steel and the organic material of concrete.

The nuclear radioactivity was confined within its lead shielding but the Orgone Energy was not confined, since the Life Energy passes through all materials – only at different speeds. Thus there was not a strong Oranur reaction when the nuclear material was within lead shielding inside the safe. The Oranur reaction was controlled as it were. The Orgone Energy could affect the nuclear source since the Orgone passed through lead; the radium could not irritate the concentrated Orgone field because the radiation was stopped by lead. Perhaps a way had been found to denature the harmful effects of the nuclear material. By placing the nuclear source first in lead shielding; and then placing the lead container within an Orgone Accumulator – in this way the Orgone Energy can get at the nuclear material but the radioactive material cannot affect the Orgone. After this process had been carried out for a period of time (months), a diminuation effect was noted in the reaction of the Orgone treated nuclear material on exposure to a strong Life Energy field.

In the next article we will discuss Reich’s invention of the cloudbuster to combat an unexpected side effect of the Oranur Experiment; and we will examine use of this denatured milligram of radium (ORUR) to amplify the effect of the cloudbuster.

A more complete history of the Oranur Experiment is found in Selected Writings by Wilhelm Reich, published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux ISBN 0-374-50197-1. Briefly: the Oranur Experiment illustrated the nature of radiation sickness as being a reaction of the Life Energy against the nuclear irritant. Shielding is not possible against the Oranur effect because Orgone Energy penetrates all matter. Once the Oranur effect begins, it spreads in a chain reaction fashion to infect areas not originally exposed to the nuclear material. The Oranur effect produces symptoms of radiation sickness generally and within individuals reactivates any latent disease or weakness found in each particular organism. There are possibilities of antidotal uses of the Oranur effect as a preventive measure to “inoculate” the organism against radiation sickness such as might be expected in nuclear war. Of course we realize that these medical implications are being discussed for experimental purposes only in the light of historical curiosity in our examination of Reich’s most famous experiment. In no way is it suggested that anyone try to replicate this dangerous experiment!

Thus with the living planet Earth, the atomic explosions inaugurated by Oppenheimer and his ilk in 1945 have initiated an Oranur effect extending far out into space. From Reich’s pioneering efforts, we know that the Oranur effect does not follow the inverse square law of radiation propagation. The concentrated Life Energy reaction against one milligram of radium was reported to extend for 600 miles. A small 1945 atomic blast of 20 Kilotons released 500,000 Roentgens of gamma radiation in .01 seconds. In the same time, a milligram of radium releases .000023055 Roentgens of gamma. The distance for the Oranur effect from the milligram of radium was 600 miles. A proportional distance from the 500,000 Roentgens (Oranur effect, not inverse square wave propagation) is two light years. From this rough calculation, we can expect other inhabitants of our larger environment who are more attuned to Life Energy functions – we can expect others to take notice from a long ways away of our malicious nuclear technology.

Wilhelm Reich stopped doing therapy. He stopped leading patients through childhood traumas so that they could experience their present lives more thoroughly. Reich stopped trying to help an endless succession of middle aged neurotics to get in touch with their feelings in order to feel pleasure and grief and sadness and even joy. No longer did his clients learn how to breathe in a chest/belly rhythm that restored the diaphragm to full function. Ended was the effort to make contact with the eyes while the subject would evade the essential by talking about emotions instead of feeling them.

Having trained a competent staff of medical doctors, headed by Ellsworth Baker MD, to carry on the therapeutic work called Orgone Therapy; Reich decided to press on with his discoveries. Reich’s discovery was of the Life Energy. Reich discovered “the force” – the mass free energy that is the substrate of all existence. The extensive medical therapy practice that had been built up in New York City was to be the meat and potatoes to a large group of young doctors of the College of Orgonomy. On the West coast, out in California, a spontaneous growth of “neo-Reichian” therapy was to provide the tofu and salad to any number of therapeutic entrepreneurs who felt themselves competent to handle groups of new age seekers who were eager to strip down and get on the mattress for some of this “Reichian therapy.”

Reich abandoned the lucrative therapy practice because doing therapy is a hopelessly inefficient way to solve the problem of repression of the Life Force within members of society. Reich had developed a workable technique of restoring on an individual basis the free flow of life energy within the organism. To achieve the goal of an unarmored society, as was attempted in the Russian and German revolutions, (See the Mass Psychology of Fascism); Reich observed that to achieve this goal of an unarmored society would take at least one full generation. In a treatise, “The Biological Miscalculation in Human Struggle for Freedom”, published in The International Journal of Sex-Economy and Orgone Research, Orgone Institute Press, NY, 1943 – In this important paper Reich spells it out: once children are born and brought up in our typical Judeo/Christian culture with emphasis on original sin and the shamefulness of natural bodily functions, then there is “no chance” of restoring that generation to a natural life positive condition.

Exhaustive individual therapy may loosen the bonds of armoring for those with financial means and the leisure time to indulge in such new age pursuits, but for those who are not trust fund hippies, who must daily deal with the real world – our lot is is to be armored in the Reichian sense to the flowing Life Energy.

What is this Orgone Energy? In people, the living force may be felt as the tension and attraction between male and female.

Be careful not to confuse this primordial feeling with the disgusting secondary drives that are pandered to us by such movies as “Under the Cherry Moon”.

For the children of the future, the ones with bright faces, it is our duty to persist in solving the fundamental question: what is the origin and what is the purpose of this repression of human sexuality? We know that when a bull is made into a steer, then the cattle are easily led to the slaughter. When my ancestors in Northern Europe worshiped a living Nature and gloried in the strength of their bodies, then no force – even the might of Rome – was able to conquer them for long or subdue their spirit. When we fell prey to an Eastern, life negating religion from Palestine, then a 1000 year period of darkness, the “dark ages” swept over the land bringing fear, superstition and pestilence.

To change the conditions that produce the armoring process will be a longer job. We have lived under this unnatural and perverse system for 2000 years. A generation or more of people brought up with healthy values will be a start to living in accord with nature’s eternal religion. With repeated emotional shocks the edifice and mystical reverence for the Bible will be made moot. The older ones cannot change; the more rigid ones will not change – the children first will realize the essential simplicity of nature’s living presence.

In the atmosphere of our living planet, one can observe the wavy quivering of life energy above a ploughed field or over a body of water. This wavelike phenomenon, commonly called “heat waves” is not heat at all. Even in winter at high altitudes in the mountains is this flickering of the sky seen to move from West to East – regardless of wind direction. The pulsating energy that is called “heat waves” cannot be air – for air is invisible; even strong wind cannot be seen. On the tops of pine trees against the blueness of the sky can the atmospheric life energy be seen as a distinct sparkling and flickering in the sky.

“Static” electricity of the atmosphere and galvanic electricity from wires moving through a magnetic field may not be the same thing. The air is “full” of static electricity; yet the air is a good insulator of electricity. Blue is the color of the living energy that is called the “ether” of classical physics. The deep blueness of the sky being the same blue seen in all observations of this energy: the blueness of the ocean or deep lakes; the blue of a dark thunder cloud; the blue of living protoplasm; the blue fog-like vapors seen in a completely darkened room when the eyes have accustomed to the darkness.

We have mentioned several books by Wilhelm Reich about the Orgone Energy Accumulator. In these books, Reich talks about medical use of the Orgone Accumulator, the Orgone Blanket and other life energy charging devices. Reference is made to these historical publications for informational purposes only. IN NO WAY ARE THE BOOKS BY WILHELM REICH TO BE CONSIDERED LABELING OF THE ORGONE BLANKET! What this means is that no matter what any book by Wilhelm Reich may say, THE ORGONE ENERGY BLANKET FROM SUPER SCIENCE IS NOT FOR HEALING OR MEDICAL PURPOSES! There are two reasons for this: first, such medical use of the Orgone Blanket is definitely illegal; second, and more importantly – using the Orgone Blanket to cure disease may give someone false hope and prevent them from seeing their physician and getting proper medical attention for treatment of an injury or disease.

If not for medical or healing use, then what is the purpose of this life energy charging device? The three layer Orgone blanket (a component of the “force”) is for healthy organisms to experience the subjective feelings of a charge of this living energy.

There is a similarity in feeling and effect to the “Reichian” breathing session: a tingling in the limbs, a prickling sensation on the skin, a feeling of deep relaxation and a reddening of the face. The length of time for an experimental session with the Orgone Blanket varies from five to 30 minutes or more daily – this means regular use. A feeling of “lumination” will be felt with continued use. Bio-energetically stronger people need shorter exposure to the charging effect to feel the “glowing” sensations. Organisms with a weaker charge or more tightly armored will require a greater number of exposures to the irradiation of this life energy charging device before the subjective impressions are felt.

There is a self-regulation factor as to the length of time of Orgone irradiation. Symptoms of overcharge are: pressure in the head, feelings of anxiety and irritability, slight nausea, dizziness. When the organism has reached the overcharge level from using the Orgone Blanket, there is a tendency to kick the blanket away. It is better to have several shorter experimental sessions with this powerful life energy charging device than to use it for an hour or more. Sleeping under the Orgone Energy Blanket is not recommended because overcharge is sure to be the result.

The best way to experiment with this fascinating “component” of the force and Reich’s most famous invention is to use it on a regular, daily basis. The device is dependent upon the level and quality of energy in the atmosphere; a clear fresh blue sunny day having the best quality of charge of the living energy. There are conditions in our industrialized environment that are not good for using the Orgone Energy Blanket. Reich discovered and outlined these conditions in The Oranur Experiment. Basically with the advent of nuclear pollution of the Earth, the living energy has suffered as well.

The life energy charging devices, the Orgone Blankets, concentrate the pollution right along with the atmospheric energy. Reich called this radioactive dead life energy, “DOR”, meaning Deadly Orgone. DOR may be considered a waste product of the interaction of Orgone Energy and nuclear energy. In the next installment we will discuss the Oranur Experiment in detail; for now as it applies to using the Orgone Blanket – use the charging device on fresh relatively unpolluted days. For best results, follow the intuition that comes from a contact with the living energy in nature around us. Living near a nuclear power plant with its concentration of DOR may present problems with a powerful and sensitive device such as an Orgone Blanket. It is best to pay attention to the subjective feelings while using this device; essentially it is a self-regulating process. There are no authorities to tell us how to use the Orgone accumulators; Wilhelm Reich is dead – it is up to us to carry on this important work.

To sum it up on how to use the Orgone Energy Blanket for experimental purposes: use the blanket in relatively unpolluted weather (this may often be mornings before the rush hour traffic has had a chance to stink things up). Always air out the Orgone Accumulator Blanket immediately prior to each use. This may be done by hanging it out on the clothes line or over a tree limb. Use the device with plenty of ventilation – at least open the window if practical. Keep the Orgone Blanket away from sources of radioactivity such as television sets, computer monitors, fluorescent lights (!), X-Ray equipment and etc. Remember: the Orgone Blanket is always “on”; there is no switch to the device – once the organic and metallic layers are assembled, then the device begins to function.

Air out the blanket by shaking it vigorously; lie beneath the life energy charging device away from any televisions or fluorescent lights. The metal side faces the body. Wear as little clothing as practical with perhaps a light sheet next to the metal (not required); be sure to breathe freely while using this life energy charging device…

There are two experiments that can give an objective measurement of the Orgone Energy. The first is the temperature experiment, T₀ – T. This involves a one cubic foot Orgone Accumulator in the shape of a box. The three layer accumulator is made from Cellotex insulation board (organic material) and galvanized sheet iron (metallic material). The control box is similar to the Orgone box but the control has no metal layers. A thermometer is placed in the top of each enclosed space. It is warmer inside the top of the Orgone Accumulator by a temperature difference (T₀ – T) varying from .3 degrees C. to 1.5 degrees C.

The theory to explain this observation is:

“The Orgone freely oscillates within the inner metal walls of the orgone energy accumulator. It is repelled by the inner metal on all sides. This means stoppage of the kinetic energy of the orgone .. energy. Stoppage of kinetic energy manifests itself on the thermometer as increase of temperature. This heat can be felt at the palms, close to the inner, COLD metal walls.”

By a constant running of the T₀ – T experiment, an ongoing monitor of the atmospheric level of charge may be maintained. By observing and recording the temperature difference every hour, a graph may be made of the level of life energy charge in the atmosphere. The greater the difference in temperature between the two boxes, the stronger is the local charge of the atmospheric life energy.

A correlation may be made to the weather conditions and the results of the T₀ – T experiment. While running the experiment, keep a log of the weather; noting precipitation, humidity, temperature, pollution reports and cloud cover. Correlate the fresh blue sunny days with a larger difference in temperature. Note carefully the relationship to barometric pressure and what results are observed prior to a storm.

A second simple experiment is the seed germination experiment: two groups of alfalfa seeds are set up to sprout in two mason jars. For an exact experiment, count an equal number of seeds into each group from the same batch. Place one group of seeds in their mason jar inside the one cubic foot, three layer Orgone box;  place the other group in the control box without the metal layers. Sprout the seeds in a normal manner, changing and rinsing the water daily. Observe and record the results as to number of seeds sprouted, rate of growth, size of sprouts and even the taste of the sprouts.

Discoverer of Orgone Energy

They put Wilhelm Reich in jail… So he must have been pretty bad, a scientist put in prison, for his science; now that is a mark of distinction! Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary, 1957: The discoverer of “The Force” is behind bars. It was no flash in the pan; it was a career of effort that landed Reich in the can.

First, there was that Orgone Box – naked people getting into that thing, it didn’t even plug into the wall; some sort of sex machine or orgasm device that was supposed to produce “orgiastic potency.” Or cure everything from colds to cancer – a cure all as it were. Well, it didn’t take the authorities long to put a stop to that sort of nonsense; we can’t have people running around curing cancer now can we?

Then, if that wasn’t bad enough, there was this business shooting down flying saucers… That’s right, flying saucers! Clearly the man was insane and for his own good – and to protect the public from further depredations of this sort of charlatanism… Well, to make a long story short, Wilhelm Reich MD was sent to prison and there he died.

Today the name of Wilhelm Reich is used much to tote the efficacy of various West coast therapies: “Reichian” breathing, “Reichian” emotional release, “Neo-Reichian” body work. Sexual freedom revolutions, various degenerations of all kinds can find succor under the banner of Reich. Witness a recent leaflet seen in Berkeley, CA. near a popular new age watering hole (Fat Apples): “Marathon Anger Workshop – For Lesbians Only. Use Reichian Breathing And Discharge To Touch The Rage Within Us”. But surely the discoverer of the primordial energy called “The Force” in the Star Wars movie, surely his crime was greater than to teach angry young women in undershirts to pound on pillows with tennis rackets.

The crime committed by the criminal was serious, thought crime as it were – and to magnify the gravity of the offense, the criminal taught others to follow his example. Reich was a man of substance, successful; he had a following, and his followers were medical doctors. It was unprecedented for a group of so highly placed men to collectively break the unwritten rules that govern our Judeo/Christian culture. The criminal was leading members of the herd out of the corral of sexual taboo established by the chosen ones of the Old Testament. Reich was shining the light of truth upon the fetters of sexual repression as established in the origins of Christianity. The crime of Reich was to lead others to the laws of Nature; the crime of Reich was to point the way out of the trap established by the heritage of circumcision, of guilt, and of shame.

A lonely solitary inventor, a crackpot in a basement Reich was not. With a modern well equipped laboratory on a 320 acre farm in Western Maine, Wilhelm Reich set up shop for the final act of a lifelong drama that was to lead to actual and literal Contact With Space.

Wilhelm Reich was a German Army combat veteran from the Great War. He grew up on a farm that was destroyed by the invading Russians and was left with little choice but to join the army. Four years later Reich found himself as a veteran in a defeated army of a defeated nation. He went to Vienna and enrolled in the University under the veteran’s benefit program. Switching from Law to Medicine, Reich gravitated to the- group of students gathered around Sigmund Freud.

So the background of Reich was forged in a hard school: first in war, then as a medical doctor. A scientist by training and profession – in the Western tradition of medical science, perhaps the most rigorous single course of study offered, that of a medical doctor (not a new age “healer” by a long shot). Chemistry, calculus, Latin, anatomy; the full medical training and degree from Vienna in 1922.

Wilhelm Reich M.D. very simply discovered… “The Force” !

Wilhelm Reich first observed this universally present mass free energy as human sexuality. As a student of Freud, he had ample opportunity to observe and work with patients from all social classes in Europe. In the Communist party, Reich introduced ideas of sexual hygiene to alleviate working class neurotic suffering. Reich observed that a sexual dysfunction was present in every case of mental illness. As a student of Freud, Reich realized that the id, the libido, the unconscious force that motivates our lives; Reich realized from his observations that this energy was human sexuality. If we can span the breadth of Reich’s career from our vantage point in more distant time, we realize that Reich’s first discovery was the specific nature of the energy so eagerly sought by present day free energy enthusiasts such as Eric Dollard.

In the Function of the Orgasm (1927), Reich published his discovery that the sexual embrace between male and female is an involuntary convulsion that regulates the living energy metabolism of the organism. Thus: specific knowledge of the living energy that is our life is of an emotional nature and not cognitive; it is not intellectual. This means that the energy popularized as “the force” in the Star Wars movie; this energy was discovered by Wilhelm Reich MD as human sexuality. The way that people specifically relate (“know God”) to this mass free energy is through the genital embrace of the reproductive function – the creation of Life.

Reich developed a new kind of therapy to address the repression that society puts upon the sexuality of people. The energetic metabolism of nearly everyone has the freely pulsating four beat’ rhythm replaced by a rigid condition that Reich called “armoring”. Children are born and almost immediately the processes of circumcision, of toilet training, of learning shame produce a condition that carries into adulthood whereby the person is unable to express emotion, unable to feel sensations strongly. Reich noticed that this condition of chronic muscular tension blocks the feelings of pleasurable sensations within the body. This continual tension of the organism was successful in repressing the original sexual feelings but it gave rise to the secondary drives: the twisted feelings that had to find an outlet through the rigidity of the armor. Reich’s new method of therapy differed from the Freudians in that he attacked the resistances directly: with breathing, with manipulation of the body, with discharge of the held in secondary drive energies of anger and rage.

While Reich and his colleagues were successful in developing a new kind of therapy described in Character Analysis (1933); it is hopelessly inefficient to have every member of society undergo lengthy energetic therapy to restore a naturally present condition. The armoring process, once the person passes puberty, is essentially an irreversible condition. On the bright side, children are born unarmored and have a fair chance of growing up as Nature intended if they are not circumcised and traumatized first (not to mention aborted !).

Reich noticed that a loosening of conventional, Puritanical mores and taboos did not result in a natural expression of love. Rather, a loosening of the traditional norms of patriarchy resulted in all sorts of just awful secondary drives being released such as sadism, homosexuality, masochism, & perversion such as we may witness today in New York, San Francisco or in Hollywood movies. Reich observed these secondary drives in Russia & Germany and described them in The Mass Psychology of Fascism (1933).

Quite simply, Reich discovered that it will be a slow process to learn to live with knowledge of the Life Energy. As adults, we can endeavor to free ourselves somewhat from the ties that bind us to the old way of original sin. Our best and only practical chance is to try to raise our children without the yoke of the Judeo-Christian heritage of the Old Testament. If we follow the fashion of the liberals and practice birth control and kill our children through abortion, then even that chance of moving into the new age will be lost to us.

Reich’s career spanned three periods: the first period in Europe where he started his discoveries as a medical doctor working with the new science of psychoanalysis that was being led by Sigmund Freud; the second period in Scandinavia where he discovered the electrical aspects of this sexual energy in his experiments investigating the antithesis between pleasure and anxiety at the University of Oslo (1934-1936). In Scandinavia Reich also observed that biological preparations of organic matter would exhibit the now familiar four beat rhythm of tension, charge, discharge, and relaxation. This four beat pattern was first observed in the orgasm, now it was observed in laboratory preparations under microscopes of high power.

In these experiments, published as The Bions (1938), Reich would take organic matter such as coal dust or fine sand or rust and heat it to incandescence in a gas flame; then the incandescent organic material would be put into a sterile nutritive solution. In other experiments, Reich would take organic material such as dry moss or dry grass and soak it in water after it had been sterilized. In both series of experiments, the organic matter that had been sterilized began to organize itself into vesicles and the vesicles of this sterilized organic matter would organize themselves into groups and the groups would surround themselves with membranes and begin to behave as protozoa. Reich named these laboratory-made life forms, “bions”.

One day an accident occurred with a preparation of bions made from sand. Reich left a pair of rubber gloves next to some test tubes full of sand bions. He was amazed when the rubber gloves were placed on the stand of an electroscope and the leaves of the electroscope parted as if a strong electrostatic charge were present. It was true, the rubber gloves had been charged by the radiations emanating from the sand packet (SAPA) bions. Furthermore, the SAPA bions would fog photographic plates and Reich noticed that a large number of them would produce a sun-tan effect upon the human skin.

The third period of Reich’s career was in the United States. Each discovery was based on and grew out of the previous work. Reich often delayed publication of a discovery until it had led to a new discovery based on the previous one. Each period of Reich’s career was based on the work that preceded it. Today, we can look upon all of the different aspects of Reich’s work and see a unity: that of the discovery of the Life Energy. In America, Reich invented a device to concentrate the ever present atmospheric life energy first observed in humans as sexuality, then observed in the laboratory preparations called bions. In a continuation of this article we will investigate the path of discovery more fully; for now we will discuss how to make and use the ORGONE ENERGY BLANKET:

The materials to make the Orgone Energy Blanket are 100% wool and galvanized steel screen. Wool is the organic material and it is one of the very best organic materials due to its high relative surface area and its position on the food chain; only fur is better than wool for making Orgone Accumulators. The metallic material in the Orgone Accumulator Blanket may be any form of iron. Galvanized steel screen is the material of choice, though steel wool will work but it tends to be lumpy and the fibers can work their way through the organic layer and scratch the user. Aluminum and copper are poor materials to use for the metallic layers and should not be used because they produce “DORish” effects, (more about DOR in Part II)

Here is how the accumulator of Life Energy works: the organic layer (100% wool) attracts and holds the energy from the atmosphere; the metallic layer (galvanized steel screen) attracts, then repels the energy in both directions at once. The energy that is passed back to the organic layer stays there to be re-attracted back to the metallic layer. The inside metallic layer of the Orgone charging device continuously radiates this energy. One layer of organic material and one layer of metallic material constitute one layer of Orgone Energy Accumulator. This invention may be considered to be a component of “the force”. As a resistor or a capacitor is a component of the energy called electricity, the Orgone Accumulator is a component of the sea of energy in which we live.

In use, the experimental subject lays beneath the Orgone Energy Blanket for a period of twenty to thirty minutes each day. The function of this device is to charge the organism with the atmospheric life energy. The device is dependent upon the energetic level of the user and the level and quality of charge of life energy in the atmosphere.

At this point it becomes necessary to state that the Orgone Energy Blanket must NEVER BE USED FOR HEALING OR MEDICAL PURPOSES! There are two reasons for this: first – healing or medical use of this device is definitely illegal, second – healing or medical use of this device may give someone false hope and prevent them from receiving proper attention and care from a physician. Thus, only for experimental purposes, only for investigative purposes are these devices offered to individuals who wish to pursue this new knowledge.

A clear fresh blue sunny day is ideal weather to use the Orgone Energy Blanket. Deep free breathing on a cold mountain morning invigorates the body and freshens the spirit. Feeling the streaming and the tingling of pleasure. Warmth, relaxation, reddening in the face, a tension of building charge – these are some of the subjective impressions that are felt, these are the feelings (not thoughts!) that users of the Orgone Blanket have reported. Sleeping under the Orgone Blanket is not recommended; when the subject falls asleep under this charging device, an overcharge results which prevents one from going back to sleep. The length of time of use depends upon the person and the conditions; when the user feels a certain irritability, when the subject becomes restless laying under the Orgone Blanket, then it is time to stop. Restlessness, irritability – these are symptoms of overcharge and indicate that the person has reached their saturation point. Thus the length of time beneath the Orgone Blanket will vary between different people depending upon individual levels of initial charge and atmospheric conditions.

The Orgone Accumulator Blanket not only concentrates the Life Energy from the atmosphere upon the experimental subject, it reflects back the living energy of the subject. Of the two energetic systems, the Orgone Accumulator and the human organism, the human organism is the stronger of the two. Life energy, like gravity, flows from the weaker to the stronger source. Thus the energy flows from the accumulator to the body of the subject. This orgonomic potential is opposite from that of heat or mechanical energy, which flows from the stronger to weaker.

It is too much to present the career of Wilhelm Reich in one article. Briefly, the discoverer of the Life Energy started out his career as a student of Freud in Vienna after the First World War. The second period of Reich’s work was in Scandinavia where he discovered the bioelectrical aspects of human sexuality. This led to work with single celled organisms called bions that were observed to radiate this living energy. The final period of Reich’s career of discovery was in America where he invented the Orgone Accumulator, discovered the relationship between Life Energy and nuclear radioactivity (The Oranur Experiment), invented the cloudbuster, and finally turned his attention towards a new phenomenon: the UFO’s.

Readers of the “Pendulum” who are also readers of “Country Living Books,” “Trees,” “Rural Economy,” the “Soil Magazine” or “Organic Husbandry,” may remember my writings on the discovery of an ancient system of Land Water Control, the introduction of which has invariably been followed by an amazing improvement in health and fertility (both animal and vegetable) in the areas concerned.

“What gave you the idea in the first place?” I am constantly asked, in conversation. I can only reply in the words of a famous scientist, “Ideas come out of space!”

The idea, upon which my work has been based, is as follows: “That it is possible to induce rainfall, as it touches the earth, to commence to move towards specially prepared focal points, where it will commence to spiral downwards, to replenish underground streams and centres of moving water, beneath the earth’s surface; instead of streaming off, on, or near, the surface of the land; filling the surface water channels far too rapidly and causing mud and floods to make their appearance.”

ANCIENT KNOWLEDGE

This idea was quickly followed by the amazing discovery that the idea had evidently been in the minds of the ancient agricultur­ists, who first brought these islands (British Isles) to fertility, out of swamp and forest!

Not only here, in this Gloucestershire valley, but all over England, and in parts of Wales too, there are to be found the neces­sary earthworks and the chequer-board pattern of field and pasture, which are parts of the System; although, now, completely prevented from functioning by the application of modern ideas of Land Drainage.

Modern Drainage increases the rate of surface run-off, and pre­vents the far more rapid inward rotational movement. No puddles form where inward rotation of water is functioning; and in such areas there is no mud! Earth and water become permanently dissociated and air takes the place of stagnant water in the soil, wherever rainwater is allowed to percolate the earth with a natural inward spiral move­ment. This action can be induced by man, and adapted in accordance with his needs.

The radiesthetist will be, it seems certain, most interested in that part of the discovery which is connected with the incidence of disease; and of the effects on disease which follow the introduction of this method of Land Water Control in any given area,

NEW LIFE IN THE VALLEY

In Parts of this valley, where I have not yet been permitted to set the System working, many dead and dying trees are to be seen. In areas where the ancient focal spots have been once more set to work, the diseased limbs, and the cankered bark of the trees, have all been shed, or smothered in new, healthy growth.

The corky excrescences which covered the twigs and branches of the elm trees, immediately began to shrivel up, and then to drop off, once the water of an area had started to move spirally inwards. Where, before, there were diseased growths, now there may be seen shining, healthy tissue, full of lenticels and growing at a rapid pace. The elm leaves may have been not much bigger than one’s thumb nail, but now there will come, on the younger elm branches, large, tender, bright green leaves, which might be mistaken for nut leaves.

Willow trees – old and pollarded – may have been falling apart, riddled with the tiny holes of parasites. Now “new trees” will take their place. The splits are actually mended by new tissue which grows rapidly up the edges of the split portions, reuniting them and enabling the tree to take on the appearance of a new one, as new bark covers the whole area in succeeding years.

In our valley, the waterside rushes, which, formerly, grew for a while and then turned yellow and died away, now grow right up to flower and fruit!

As for the rushes in the boggy valley pastures – where are they?

The little acre known as “Poor Land” or the “Parish Field,” which I rent from the Parish Council, was, when I took it over, in January 1939, a mass of rushes and water weeds. Some then called it “Rushy Meadow.” Now, there is not a rush to be seen! The rushes have been grazed to extinction by my farm animals, which, previously would eat but little of the sour herbage of this low lying pasture; which, nearly every winter, disappears for a while under many feet of Severn floods, which sweep across the three-mile-wide valley; which is believed to have been, in previous days “less subject to waters.” (vide the 16th century historian Leland),

THE HUMAN LINK

What place has human beings in this long-forgotten System, which I have re-discovered?

We have no “roots” like plants. We, and the animals, move from place to place. We, and they, may gain great benefit from eating produce which is obviously healthier; from the new-textured, sweet-smelling, and richly-coloured soil which is now to be seen wherever the System is working.

Is there more than this? I think there is.

In this System, allowance is made for tidal movements in the waters of the earth – the rhythmic “back-and- forth” of free water, which may be observed on the surface of the sea, but which, manifestly, cannot end at the sea shore. This movement must extend throughout the earth’s surface, and outwards into space, also.

Much is written regarding the “stress” of modern times” I am convinced that much of this stress is connected with that unremitting onward “forward-traction” of the waters of the country­side – as though the “arteries” of the earth had been severed, while the “veins” had long since ceased to function!

COSMIC INTERCONNECTIONS

I look upon the Moon as having a similar function with regard to the Earth, as the Heart of man has with regard to his Body.

In this connection, it is interesting to note that the Ancient Chaldeans of Ur, (who, it seems probable, understood the principles which I have rediscovered) accounted the “Goddess of Fertility” to be none other than “Nin-Gal” the Goddess of the MoonI

There should be, I am convinced, (by practical experiment) a possibility for the earth’s waters to draw back and forth, as well as on and on!

It also seems probable to me, that cosmic rays, coming out of space, need a healthy, and balanced en­vironment in which to work naturally, and therefore beneficently in the ser­vice of mankind.

May it not be during sleep (when we are, as it were, “rooted” to an area), that the influences which spell the dif­ference between health and disease are at their strongest – for we, as we rebuild our defences during rest, are then surely, most subject to external influences?

SECRETS OF THE SYSTEM

What are the secrets of this new (or very old) System? What are we to do, that we may start the System at once? Can we start in our own gardens? Yes, we can!

We cannot, however, get full results until the “Powers that Be” in Land Drainage, see the light also.

“We are under Whitehall,” I have been told by Land Drainage en­gineers. “We are paid for our work and we must do as we are told. We can see that you have changed the texture of the soil. We know you are right, but – the Ministry of Agriculture says that all rivers and streams must flow straight to the sea; and dams of earth and stone are not permissible, according to modem drainage ideas!”

In our gardens, we may begin, however. That circular flower bed is the focal point. Make it, first, a “saucer,” – a depression – made firm with a few stones in the centre. Then, on the “saucer,” place a mound of earth. In the surface of this mound you will set your plants and seeds. Mound it as high as possible by adding humus to lighten the soil. Mound your flower borders also. Never let them be flat. Air pres­sure will then drive the rainfall towards the “cores” of the flower beds and flower borders. Thence it will spiral downwards.

You will have started inward rotation. In time, no doubt, others will follow!

“For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater.

“So shall My Word be that goeth forth out of My Mouth; it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

“For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into a singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

“Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a Name, for an everlasting sign, that shall not be cut off.”

(The ideas of the author have some resemblance to those of Dr. Schauberger but were evolved separately over a period of years. The principle enunciated should be capable of being followed with ease overseas where Ministerial interference with agriculture is less evident. Egerton Sykes, Editor – PENDULUM 1953)

Throughout all the Americas there are legends of archaic avenues, racial memories of subterranean passages stretching for miles. After a great cataclysm the ancestral North Americans lived in the vast cavern complex until it was safe to return to the upper world. The story is spread through many tribes, from the kivas to the Pueblos to the lodges of the Blackfeet, from the hogans of the west to the campfires of the eastern woodland tribes be­fore their dispersion.

To the Hopi this is the fourth world. Thrice the world on the surface has been ravaged while the Hopi escaped by living with the ant people (ant totem) in an underworld beneath the ground.

The Mandans of the northwestern states, some of whom had blue eyes and silky hair, were almost wiped out by smallpox in 1830 with the survivors being forcibly incorporated into the Rickaree tribe. Their legend was linked with the Great Deluge. They said the first men to emerge from the tunnels were the Histoppa or the “tattooed ones.” Having left safety too soon, they perished. The rest, who remained below, waited until a bright light dispelled the darkness on the surface. They found that the destruction was over, but the world above was uninhabited. Each spring the Mandans had a dance celebrating their deliv­erance from the flood.

The Apaches have a legend that their remote ancestors came from a large island in the eastern sea where there were great build­ings and ports for ships. The Fire Dragon arose, and their ancestors had to flee to moun­tains far to the south. Later they were forced to take refuge in immense and ancient tunnels through which they wandered for years, carry­ing seeds and fruit plants.

But it is in the south, in Central and especially South America, that the tales of underground passageways and caverns are the most widespread. Myths say that the Votans, who came from the east, were kings of the snake (totem) people, a people of the Great Cataclysm, who through tremendous Atlantean tunnels journeyed to Central America in a very remote time.

“Before the time of the Great Flood,” say the Zapotec sages of old Mexico, “we lived in cave-cities. Our forefathers came out of the caves of the Underworld where it was crowded. They came out by tribes, each led by the spirit of its own animal-totem.”

“Our people long ago came through the places of the cavernous openings,” said the quippos readers of the Incas.

It is in the south that we have the legend of Chichomoztoc, the City of the Seven Caves, but this city cannot be definitely identified with any known city or ruin. And there too are the legends that various ruined cities — Tiahuanaco, Campeche, Palenque and others — are far more extensively built underground than upon the surface.

In the sixteenth century in Peru came Don Francisco Pizarro and his greed-crazed conquistadores. They seized Atahualpa, last of the Inca emperors of the sun, and promised to release him upon receiving a ransom — gold that would fill a room seventeen by twenty feet, and nine feet in height. It is estimated that this ransom consisted of 600 tons of gold and jewels. While awaiting this ransom the Span­iards busied themselves stripping the gold-plating and waterpipes from the Cuzco Temple walls.

The gold flowed into the capital city, arriving by caravans from throughout the empire. Dazzled by the ever-growing display of boundless wealth, Pizarro demanded to know the source. Rumors reached him that the Incas possessed a secret and seemingly inex­haustible mine, or enormous depository, which lay in a vast subterranean tunnel, running many miles beneath the imperial dominions.

Soon gold filled the treasure room to the specified level, but Pizarro refused to release Atahualpa. He announced that if he were not given the secret of the gold’s origin, he would take the emperor’s life. Since Pizarro had broken his first promise, the Inca queen de­cided to consult the oracles of the priests of the sun. By this mystical means, she learned that whether the secret was given to Pizarro or not, the emperor was doomed. Orders were issued. Under the directions of the high priests, tunnel entrances were sealed and hidden from view.

Beneath the brilliant light of a great comet that gleamed in the southern skies, the empire of the sun came to its tragic end. Atahualpa was strangled and his queen committed sui­cide. As news of the emperor’s death spread throughout the empire, caravans en route to Cuzco with treasure for their ruler’s ransom stopped and quickly concealed their burdens. Today these lost Inca hoards lie in forests, on lake bottoms, beneath piles of earth and rocks in canyons below the high Cordilleras. They are hidden in fortress vaults, under hills and sealed in caves.

But the greater treasure, the secret place that Pizarro vainly sought, according to leg­end, is in the strange subterranean tunnels, thousands of years old, that lie locked in the earth. Only a few decades after the conquest, Cieza de Leon wrote “If, when the Spaniards entered Cuzco they had not … so soon ex­ecuted their cruelty in putting Atahualpa to death, I do not know how many great ships would have been required to bring such trea­sures to old Spain, as is now lost in the bowels of the earth and will remain so because those who buried it are now dead.”

The Quichua Indians of today are the direct descendants of the Incas of old, a gentle, quiet people with melancholy eyes. Their traditions insist that in each generation a very dedicated few of their number, unknown to all the rest, possess the ancient secret. Shortly after the conquest they told the soldier-priest, Cieza de Leon, that “the treasure is so con­cealed that even we, ourselves, know not the hiding place.”

Today the Quichuas, down-trodden and poverty-plagued, remember with fanatical devotion the grandeur of their ancestral past, and they dream of a tomorrow when the old glories shall return, when the wheel of time will come full circle, and when, with reincar­nated leaders, the empire of the sun will again raise its shining banners beneath Andean skies. Against this day, they preserve their secrets, and dream…

With eternal vigilance they watch the treasure hunters. Any large-scale attempt to locate the tunnels would almost certainly start a revolution. It is to be regretted that the archaic tunnels were used as a depository for Inca wealth, for now, due to the brutality of the conquistadores, they are cut off from modern archeological investigation.

Beneath the veneer of the white man’s civilization with its education and religion, many Native Americans still cling to old beliefs and customs, and take pride in then-cultural heritage. The Quichuas have quietly resisted as much as possible the influence of their Spanish-blooded neighbors. In Mexico the blood of the conquerors and the conquered has mixed. It is estimated that on the average the natives are about 20 percent Spanish and 80 percent Native American. Nevertheless, Mexico too apparently has a concealed cache of gold, its very existence known to only a few in each generation. Said to be hidden somewhere in the buried city below Mexico City, La Ciudad Enterrada awaits the reincarnation of the murdered Montezuma. From time to time, however, some of the gold has seemingly been used for special charitable purposes.

In the southwestern United States among the Pueblos, Navajos, and Apaches, some tribesmen guard hidden gold mines — “gold for Montezuma when he comes back.” That was the explanation given a hunter in the Sandia Mountains when the ground gave way and he fell into a mine and couldn’t get out. A Sandia Pueblo found him, pulled him out, blindfolded him, led him to a trail, and warned him not to go back. He did go back but he never found the mine and he was certain he was being watched.

Whether Montezuma ever returns or not, the discovery of gold brings out the worst in the white man’s nature and culture, including usurpation and despoliation of the land. The Native Americans have a feel for Mother Earth, a love of his land equal to life itself. Why should they offer more wealth to the invaders who have driven him from his own soil, given him the most barren worthless land for his reservations, destroyed his forests, annihilated his buffalo herds and wild game, and polluted his rivers and streams?

The North American Indian has a lore, a tradition, a “deep knowing” that is kept se­cret from the white man and sometimes within the tribe. This lore and racial memory can contain astonishing in­sights into the mysteries of their antiquity. The keepers of this wisdom are the sages, the elderly wise men with erudite eyes and weath­ered faces, who have received it from their fathers.

Greatest of Inca treasures, it is said, was the sun of purest gold which shone from the walls of Cuzco’s Temple of the Sun. It blazed with yellow light, and its radiating scintilla­tions burned the eyes of beholders. Upon its massive circular surface were human facial features, personifying the sun god and his pure, life-giving benisons of light and heat. Each morning as the sun rose above the Andean highlands, its rays fell upon this great disk in the temple, setting it aflame in a dazzling spectacular glow.

It was there when Pizarro and his conquistadores arrived to sack and destroy this ancient civilization, but bandit hands must not touch this most sacred symbol of the Inca god. While the Spaniards slept in their camp near the city, that glorious sun of gold vanished. And along with it into hiding went the golden life-size statue of the Inca Huayna Capac.

There was a smaller sun, a plate of gold known as the child of the greater sun. It was stolen by Don Marcio Serra de Leguisamo, who lost it while gambling the night after the day on which he had taken it. Said Fray Acosta, the monk, “He plays away the sun before the dawn.”

Quite likely the greater sun, the statue and the royal mummies lie somewhere in the mysterious subterranean caverns. There were thirteen embalmed bodies of Inca kings sit­ting in gold chairs in the temple prior to the murder of Atahualpa. Twenty-six years after the conquest, the conquistador, Polo de Ondegardo, accidentally found three of them. After stripping the mummies of their jewelry, he destroyed them.

To the Incas gold was more an element for ornamentation than a medium of exchange. The yellow metal was used for rail roof gutters and water pipes. It plated temple walls and thin sheets of the beaten gold wallpapered their houses. So delicate in workmanship, so exquisite in artistic detail was some of the jewelry that even the brutish Pizarro refused to melt it into bars.

John Harris, writing his Moral History of the Spanish West Indies in 1705, noted that while debts were paid in wedges of gold, “no Spaniard troubled if a creditor got twice the amount of his debt. Nothing was so cheap, so common, so easy to be got as gold and silver… a sheet of paper went for ten Castilians of gold.”

Much of this wealth was taken to Spain in galleons. Divided among the conquistadores, each man received hundreds of pounds of gold and silver. Since this booty could not be easily transported, some of it was hidden and for one reason or another was never recovered. These lost caches are occasionally and quietly being found today.

Catari, a quippos-reading Incan historian, told Bartolome Cervantes, canon of Chuquisaca, that old records disclosed that Tiahuanaco was primarily an underground city, extending below the surface into vast caverns. There are legends around Lake Titicaca that Tiahuanaco and Cuzco are joined by an underground tunnel and that caverns extend clear through the Andes to the eastern slopes.

Beneath Cuzco are the entrances to three caverns, one being located under the Sun Temple. A number of adventurers during past centuries have entered these caverns but none returned. Finally one man came back carrying two bars of gold but with his mind gone. It was then that the Peruvian government ordered the entrances walled up.

Alan Landsburg visited Tiahuanaco while producing the Jacques Cousteau television documentary on Lake Titicaca. He observed an artificial ridge around an enclosure approximately 4,000 square yards. “I hear that the Bolivian government plans to dig there,” he writes. “It may find nothing, although there are said to be Incan legends of a honey comb of tunnels at Tiahuanaco, and of great vertical shafts… Any subterranean chamber at Tiahuanaco may have long since collapsed or filled with dirt. Still, the solid evidence of that four-thousand-yard earthworks seem meaningful.”

Another legend is that Tupac Amaru, the Inca leader, with several thousand soldier and refugees, in 1533 escaped through tunnel east of Cuzco from Pizarro and his men; route leading into the unexplored jungle territory of northern Bolivia.

After almost every earthquake in Peru puzzling sounds are heard. They are described as comparable to the sounds of huge boulders falling under the earth’s surface as though dropping from the roofs of caves to the floors. The sounds frequently continue as long a twenty minutes after the quake itself, one dominant characteristic being a hollow booming noise with apparent echoes.

But reports of tunnels and caves are not limited to the Andean countries, but exist throughout the southern Americas. Many ancient ruins are above man-made burrows. Fifty miles south of Mexico City archeologists have found the remains of a Toltec pyramid that once covered a larger area than the Great Pyramid of Egypt. Beneath it are labyrinthine passages 1,100 yards long.

Fuentes, a Spanish historian who lived about 1685 A.D., wrote: “The marvelous structure of the tunnels (subterranean) of the pueblo of Puchuta, being of the most firm and solid cement, runs and continues through the interior of the land for the prolonged distance of nine leagues to the pueblo of Tecpan Guatemala. It is a proof of the power of these ancient kings and their vassals.”

Yucatan, with its lost and silent temple, in the green hell of the jungle, rests on limestone strata honeycombed with caves. Some of these caves were apparently used as oracles; others are said to lead to carvings deep in the bowels of the earth. They were well-known to the Mayas who lived here millennia ago, but today are largely unexplored. Some have carved figures at their entrances and the natives refuse to enter them

The greatest subterranean cave associated with ancient man that is known to definitely exist is the vast Lolnin Cave complex in the Puuc Hills of central Yucatan. From the huge chamber inside the entrance, corridor: lead off into various directions like the petal: of a gargantuan flower, hence its name, Loltun – “Flower in Stone.”

No one knows how far or how deep into the dark bowels of the earth these spacious passageways go, for they are still largely unexplored.

And as dark as earth’s bowels is the antiquity of man’s occupation of these cav­erns. From stalactites, stalagmites and rock pillars have been carved gigantic statues of animals, men and gods. Some are Mayan in origin, but there are strange older ones, along with puzzling petroglyphs, that in no way are similar to Mayan carvings. The men display luxuriant beards. One figure is a nine-foot giant with a full beard and wings that is reminiscent of early Assyrian sculpture. Its body is perforated with holes both vertically and horizontally.

But the most startling fact is one that reminds us of Tiahuanaco and confirms the astonishing antiquity of man in the Americas. Dr. Manson Valentine, the archeologist who has made the most intensive study of the cave complex, tells us that the older statues indi­cate the caves were under water after they were carved. They were water-eroded and there are water marks on the cavern walls. Moreover, divers exploring the nearby sacred wells have brought up oceanic marine growth from the bottoms.

Today this complex is several hundred feet above sea level. How long ago was it beneath the sea? What cataclysms caused these limestone strata to sink and later be raised above the ocean? And who were these people of a dim dawn era who emerged from an enigmatic eon and vanished into a limbo of the lost? Dr. Valentine writes:

The present-day Maya say that they [as a race] had nothing whatsoever to do with such carvings in Loltun and nearby caves. They say these things were placed there by the “first inhabitants” of Yucatan, the small, hunch-backed men they call “Puus.” These men were supposed to have been completely destroyed by a catastrophe that swept Yucatan in remote times, destroying everything on the surface and leaving only the carvings in the caves as reminders that they had passed that way. The Maya say that later their ancestors, the first Maya, entered and found these strange remnants of the “Puus.”

While all the migrations of Native Ameri­cans will never be known, there is abundant evidence of a northern movement, of early relationships between the southern and northern Americas. The long, frigid winter of the ice age probably forced the northern peoples to the south, and quite likely some returned as the glaciers retreated.

The Andean country is a vast land of mountains and silences, of breathtaking vistas and melancholy ruins. It is a very ancient country that has known the passing of many peoples, from the mysterious” Old Ones” whose greatness survives in their megalithic monu­ments, to the sun emperors of old Incan Peru, to the cruel conquistadores and fanatical monks, and finally to today’s impoverished Quichuas and the more prosperous Mestizos. And over it all is a haunting, mystical atmo­sphere, imbued with a venerable aura of hu­manity, conflicts and dreams during countless millennia.

In the Lake Titicaca region of these high­lands the natives speak an Aruakian dialect. They have a legend that long, long ago en­emies drove them from their capital on the lake. At first they fled to the south, but later, after many generations, they came far to the north, to a land of lakes and forests.

Years passed. Nima-Quiche, an orator and a di earner, became the leader of the people, known as the Chichimecs (or Chees). He persuaded his followers to return to their legendary homeland. Either some were left behind to join Algonquin tribes or they adopted Algonquin words into their language. Nima-Quiche died before his people’s migrations south came to an end, but in time they came to Lake Titicaca. On the bank of the sacred lake their sages held council, and they agreed that this was their original home, the place “where the first sun appeared.”

Towering above the lake and hoary Tiahuanaco is Mount Illimani with its height of 21,184 feet. The name means “Sun God” in both the Aruakian and Michigan Algonquin Chippewa tongues. In Longfellow’s Hiawatha the name “Kichee Manitu, the Mighty” was taken by the poet from Bishop Barraga’s Chippewa Language Dictionary. The “tu” which the Chippewa adds to the name for euphony means “unparalleled splendor” in Aruakian. In Bolivia the tribe’s name is spelled Quichna, but is pronounced “Cheepwa.” Its old meaning is “Ancient Chee.”Another astonishing similarity is in the ancient leader’s name, “Nima-Quiche.” In Chippewa, Nima means “ancestor” and Quiche is “illustri­ous.”

Nor is this all. Tribal customs are shared by the Bolivian Quichna and the Algonquins of the northern forests. Both practice expo­sure of the dead followed by secondary burial; carry their infants in cradle-boards; specialize in bird decorations; divide the two sides of the face for painting; have similar costuming including feather robes; and make ceremonial use of tobacco in worship of the wind god. In this observance the tobacco is mixed with shavings of certain sacred woods, placed in stone pipes, and the smoke is blown in the four directions. Another identical practice is pluck­ing out the hair of the eyebrows, a custom of the Iroquois and especially of the Senecas.

If a migration from modern Bolivia and Peru to the northern forests of Michigan and Wisconsin seems improbable, consider the migrations from present Siberia and Alaska to Tierra del Fuego and Cape Horn advocated by many anthropologists. There is far greater evidence that the totems moved north, not south.

In the American Heritage Book of Indi­ans, we learn that most experts agree that three-fourths of the population in all the Ameri­cas was concentrated in the Mexican and Andean areas at the time of the Spanish con­quests. However the number of tribes and groups in the Americas “is all but immeasur­able; estimates here really run wild.” In North America there was a greater variety of lan­guages than in all the Old World put together and there was a greater variety in South America than in North America. “The most conserva­tive guesses put the number of mutually unin­telligible languages in North America at from 500 to 1,000 and in South America to at least twice that.”

In the migrations of peoples, smaller language groups are forced back to border­lines opposite the point of invasion. The indi­cation is that the tide of migration was not from the northwest, but consisted of a series of repeated thrusts from the southeast, princi­pally up the Mississippi River and then toward the west. Thus tribe was pushed against tribe until these smaller groups reached a point beyond which there was no retreat. As a result there are hundreds of tiny groups islanded along the Pacific coast.

The order in which they came from the south is largely guesswork even when the legends are studied. The fact is that many of the North American tribes frequently migrated over long distances. For example the Pawnee, of the Caddoan language stock, once lived beside Iroquois of different stock at the mouth of the Mississippi. The Pawnees moved to Nebraska and beyond; the Iroquois migrated north to New York and Canada. The Dakota were farmers in Virginia when the white man came and introduced the horse, which com­pletely changed their lives. They gave up growing grain and traveled west to the plains and Black Hills where they found an easier living following the herds of buffalo.

The linguistic jigsaw puzzle map is only another Native American mystery. The myriad tongues testify to the countless environments of Native American groups, to the many influ­ences that came their way, especially after the fall of the southern empires and the dispersion of their peoples. Doubtless the diversity of languages was a cause of conflict. Inability to understand breeds suspicion and mistrust.

THE CENTRAL THEME OF EEMAN’S WORK

This term refers to therapeutic effects obtained by applying wire circuits to connect one part of a person’s body with, another part, or to connect an area of one person’s body with an area of another person’s body. L. E. Eeman, in his exhaustive research into this type of circuit as detailed in his book Co-Operative Healing, utilized these connections in pairs so that there would be a complete electrical circuit.

The basis of the flow effects obtained by the use of these Eeman circuits, was the discovery that human bodies give evidence of being bi-polar, along three axes—

Right side to left side

When polar opposites are connected together, whether within one body or between two or more bodies, the effects noted include greater relaxation, recovery from fatigue and disease, greater capacity for work, better health in general. Eeman circuits connecting polar opposites are termed “Relaxation Circuits”.

When polar similars are connected together, the effects noted are the creation of tension, and the opposites of all the advantages obtained from Relaxation Circuits. Eeman circuits connecting polar similars are termed “Tension Circuits”.

The use of these Eeman circuits have been found to affect not only functional physical and mental conditions but also organic conditions.

In people born right-handed, the head and right side have been found to have the same polarity, which by convention has been termed positive. In these individuals, the base of the spine, and the left hand share the same polarity, opposite to that of the head and right side, and is therefore termed negative. Generally polarities are considered reversed in those born left-handed, however Eeman found that some left-handers were of the same polarity as right-handers.

Eeman and co-workers performed thousands of carefully documented experiments under controlled conditions over a period of years, establishing the effects of a wide variety of these circuits, and ruling out the possibility of effects through suggestion or other extraneous influences. For more detail, see his book Co-Operative Healing, published in London, 1947 by Frederick MuIIer, Ltd.

ONE PERSON IN AN EEMAN CIRCUIT

The diagram (Fig. 1) shows the circuit. Two metal handles each connect through approximately 10 ft. of insulated copper wire, to copper screen mats about a foot square. The individual lies on his back with the copper mats under his head and base of spine. For right-handed individuals, a relaxation circuit is formed if the left hand holds the handle connecting to the mat under the head, and the right hand holds the handle connected with the mat under the bottom of spine. Average duration of exposure is half an hour.

Likewise for right-handed individuals, if the handles are switched so that the left hand holds the handle connecting to the mat under the bottom of the spine, and the right hand holds the handle connecting to the mat under the head, a tension circuit is formed. These effects are noted even if the individual is not aware of the specific connections or if the connections are changed out of range of his vision and without his knowledge. One of the reasons for 10-ft. length of connection wires, is to permit changes of connection without the subject’s knowledge, in order to test the effect of suggestion. In almost all instances, the reactions are those appropriate to the circuit rather than to the suggestion given, if the suggestion is contrary to the effect of the circuit.

Many case reports covering various types of ailments are detailed in Eeman’s book Co-Operative Healing, and will not be repeated here. Among the ailments relieved by these circuits are listed: mental, nervous, circulatory, respiratory, digestive and eliminative disorders; headaches, high blood-pressure, rheumatism, lumbago, sciatica and many other conditions. Insomnia appeared particularly to be relieved.

Eeman states:

“The relaxation circuit almost invariably produces a progressive sense of muscular relaxation, warmth, well-being and drowsiness, often culminating in sleep, slower and stronger pulse, slower and fuller respiration, with more complete deflation, progressively longer pauses between deflations and inflations, and a lowering of the pitch of the voice.”

The Tension circuit reverses the above reactions and eventually leads to varying degrees of tension, restlessness and discomfort.

It was found that direct contact between the copper mats and the individual was not necessary in order to produce the effects noted; clothing and even cushions did not act as barriers.

TWO PERSONS IN AN EEMAN CIRCUIT

The effects of both Relaxation and Tension Eeman circuits are usually increased if two persons are connected with each other, using a separate pair of copper mats for each person.

The normal Relaxation circuit is formed when the head of each person is connected to the left hand of the other person, and the bottom of the spine of each person is connected to the right hand of the other person. See Fig. 2.

It was found that sex made no difference in polarity—the same circuit being applicable to two men, two women, or one woman and one man. However, Left and Right-handedness does make a difference in polarity. When a right-handed person is placed in circuit with a left-handed person, then the Relaxation circuit is formed when the head of each person connects with the right hand of the other person, and the bottom of spine of each person connects with the left hand of the other person. Also, the left-handed person should lie in the opposite direction from the right-handed one.

Reports from the experiments indicate the rather curious fact that when a strong or well person is placed in an Eeman circuit with a weak or ill person, both experience beneficial effects from the experience. Sleep for a half hour or more will frequently visit both subjects.

Another interesting fact that emerged from the tests, is that a Tension circuit tends to produce discord and antagonism between the two participating subjects, and this antagonism is then dissipated if a Relaxation circuit is used.

THREE OR MORE PERSONS IN AN EEMAN CIRCUIT

The same principles were found to apply with three or more persons in circuit —in fact the number of persons could be increased indefinitely. However, with the addition of more individuals in the circuit, additional phenomena appeared; some individuals turned out to be stronger “emitters”, other individuals acted more as “receivers”, while others seemed to have as the primary characteristic, that of being “conductors”. For a detailed account of these characteristics, refer to Eeman’s book Co-Operative Healing, Chapter IV,

Fig. 3 shows a Relaxation circuit between three individuals; the same circuit can be expanded to include any desired number. This is termed a “series” type of circuit.

For multiple use (three or more persons in circuit at one time), two principal circuits emerged as the best ones to use—diagrammed in Figs. 4, 5 and 6.

In Fig. 4, all the heads connect together, all spines connect together, and those then are connected with each other. All right hands connect together, all left hands connect together, and those two sets are likewise connected with each other.In Fig. 5, all heads and all left hands connect together, and all spines and all right hands connect together.

CONCLUSIONS ON THE EEMAN CIRCUITS

It would appear from the Eeman experiments, that human beings emit, emanate or radiate a particular kind of current or impulse, which can be channelled with wire connections and used to produce either healing effects or adverse effects, depending upon polarity.

DRUG TESTS WITH EEMAN CIRCUITS

One of the most interesting aspects of the Eeman research, was the series of tests in which a Relaxation Eeman circuit was established for one or several persons, and the circuit was broken by test vials placed in the circuit one at a time, each vial containing two electrodes immersed in a drag or medicinal solution. The vials were inserted out of range of the vision of the subjects, and they did not at any time have any knowledge of the names or characteristics of the test substances. Yet within a short time after a substance had been inserted, the subjects experienced physiological changes and symptoms, which almost always were representative of the effects engendered by the drug or substance used in the test. If the subjects were kept in circuit with a substance for too long a time, there were instances where the symptoms or physiological effects became very acute and severe.

Some of the tests were run with coded vials, so that the operator would not know what substance was in use at any given time, and so could not have had telepathic influence over the minds of the subjects. These tests, conducted to rule out the possibility of telepathic effect, proved just as positive in results as the tests conducted when the operator (though not the subjects) knew what substances were being tested.

Fig. 6 shows an Eeman Relaxation circuit for drug tests.

The implications of these Eeman Circuit drug tests tend to confirm the hypothesis, previously stated by others, that all substances radiate and that these radiations can be carried on wires.

Earth generates cold plasma—slow-moving charged particles—at the edge of space, where sunlight strips electrons from gas atoms, leaving only their positively charged cores, or nuclei.

Researchers had suspected these hard-to-detect particles might influence incoming space weather, such as this week’s solar flare {January 22, 2012] and resulting geomagnetic storm. That’s because solar storms barrage Earth with similar but high-speed charged particles.

Still, no one could be certain what the effects of cold plasma might be without a handle on its true abundance around our planet.

“It’s like the weather forecast on TV. It’s very complicated to make a reasonable forecast without the basic variables,” said space scientist Mats André, of the Swedish Institute of Space Physics.

“Discovering this cold plasma is like saying, Oh gosh, there are oceans here that affect our weather,” he said.

The Trick to Finding Cold Plasma

Researchers already knew that some cold plasma existed in the ionosphere, about 60 miles (100 kilometers) above Earth’s surface. But few researchers had looked for the clouds between 12,400 and 60,000 miles (20,000 and 100,000 kilometers) high.

André and his colleague Chris Cully suspected the plasma could be out there, but they knew the positive charge of spacecraft wasn’t helping any search efforts.

Similar to the way cold plasma is created, sunlight strips electrons from spacecraft materials, making their hulls positively charged. Like two matching magnetic poles, a spacecraft would simply repulse any cold plasma around it.

To find the stuff, André and Cully instead analyzed anomalies in data from the European Space Agency’s Cluster II spacecraft.

This group of four satellites swings around Earth in a highly elliptical orbit. At the orbit’s peak, the probes reach nearly halfway to the moon.

The enormous distance gives researchers a chance to sweep through and monitor Earth’s magnetic field and electrical activity, including the influence of “hot” charged particles emitted by the sun.

Anomalies in the Cluster II data turned out to be shockwaves from cold plasma particles moving around the satellites.

Cold Plasma a Space Weather “Elephant”

In the end, the pair found that cold plasma makes up between 50 and 70 percent of all charged particles within the farther reaches of Earth’s magnetic field.

André says it’s now time to start updating space-weather models to take the extra cold plasma into account—at this point, for instance, nothing is known about how the plasma might affect solar storms.

This influence is “not a minor thing in space weather,” André said. “It’s an elephant in the room.”

The cold-plasma study has been accepted for publication in Geophysical Research Letters.

Back to Space, or Why One Over The Speed of Light Squared:

Eric Dollard Tesla Plasma

In order to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the dimensional relations of the magnetic inductance, and the electro-static capacitance it is necessary to turn again to the metrical dimension of space. It is, however, this dimension of space has become warped, as expressed in a N.F.G. It is in what follows found that the Faraday understanding is in direct conflict with the Einstein understanding, the latter extinguishing the former. Lines of induction have given way to relativistic concepts, fact has succumbed to phantasy. This condition has a direct influence upon the conceptual understanding of the conditions and dimensions that give rise to electrical inductivity as expressed by the co-efficients of magnetic and dielectric fields known as “the inductance” and “the capacitance”.

The concept of space, as given by Albert Einstein, constitutes a serious impediment to the understanding of this metrical dimension. The salient constituent of the Einstein “Theory of Relativity” is the Minkowski “Four-Space”. To quote Einstein “With out it the General Theory of Relativity, etc., would of perhaps got no farther than its long cloths,” “Relativity” by Albert Einstein, Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, New Jersey. Minkowski proposed a fourth co-ordinate be compounded upon the three co-ordinate (cubic) set of Descartes, “Cartesian” third order space. Einstein here accordingly represents this fourth order space in “Gaussian” rather that “Cartesian” co-ordinates.

The fourth co-ordinate, or length, of space is derived as

(1) Velocity – Time

Since it is dimensionally

(2) Velocity, or Space per Time

Substituting (2) into (1) gives

(3) Space – Time per Time or Space – Numeric

Here derived is a fictitious space co-ordinate, a length, this given as a light second. Hence

(4) Centimeter – Second per Second, or Centimeter

And

(5) Second per Second, or Numeric

Minkowski affixes a versor operator, the square root of negative one, to this numeric. It has been shown that this versor can possess two distinct values, and hence two distinct versor positions in time. Taking the light second as ct, where c is the luminal velocity, and t is the time period, the versor gives the pair

(A) Positive jct, Light – Seconds

(B) Negative jct, Light – Seconds

This quadrature form implies four distinct time frames, however, Einstein ignores the versor positions, retaining only one, jct. Einstein – Minkowski represents this as an ill-conceived space versor.

Einstein remarks here “Time is robbed of its independence”. Now time is married to the velocity of light. Minkowski goes on to say, “Hence forth space by itself and time by itself are doomed”. All are relative to the velocity of light. This is “The Theory of Relativity.”

Here any development of a mathematics of space comes to a standstill. Space now is just a factor of the velocity of light. It is instructive to reflect here upon the history of one over the speed of light square. The dimensional relation is,

(6) Constant, or Second Square per Centimeter Square

One over c square finds an origin in the work of James Clerk Maxwell, 1831 to 1879. Maxwell was a Scottish born natural philosopher. His work follows the trail of Ben Franklin and Michael Faraday, thru the mathematics of Newton – Liebnitz. Here arose the “Faraday – Maxwell” theory of electricity, the foundation of electrical understanding. But does anyone understand it? I think not.

Maxwell, in his studies, had determined the existence of a distinct factor of proportionality, this factor expressing a ratio of mechanical force exerted upon physical matter thru dielectric actions, to mechanical force exerted upon physical matter thru magnetic actions. This of course relates directly to our principle question at hand for the quantum mechanics; the condition of equal and opposite forces between dielectricity and magnetism. No answer yet.

It may be noted that Maxwell’s determination of this “proportionality factor” gave rise to a NUMERIC value of one over c square. It is a faulty inference to assume this factor is an actual velocity, or is the dimensional relation of a velocity at all. Here given it is numeric. In the comparisons of optics and electrodynamics it is found that a dielectric has the following characteristics;

(1) Refractive Index

(2) Dielectric Inductivity

(3) Luminal Velocity

All three of these relations are exactly related to the velocity of light. But here again is one over c square and actual velocity?

Maxwell’s discovery of a factor of proportionality between dielectricity and magnetism led to his theory of conjugate pair of inductions, dielectric and magnetic, in union, propagating at the velocity of light thru the “Luminiferous Aether”. Hence, electro-magnetic waves in free space, unbounded by gross physical matter, mass free energy. This propagation is within the dielectric, or aetheric, medium itself. It is free of so-called “charge carriers” (electrons), a mass-less form of electricity. This concept had a very powerful impact upon the scientific and philosophical thoughts of Maxwell’s era. So here begins the notion of “wireless”, the transmission of electricity without wires or other guiding structures.

Leading up to the work of Heinrich Hertz, 1857 to 1894, the wireless transmission of electricity had found experimental verification by Joseph Henry, and Elihu Thompson. It even was patented by M. Loomis. See “Secrets of Cold War Technology” by Jerry Vasillatos. These examples however were no electro-magnetic, they were electro-static (dielectric). Heinrich Hertz provided the first complete laboratory demonstration of the transmission of electricity thru “free space”, (across the room). This was instantly considered proof of the Maxwell theory of electro-magnetism, and electro-magnetic waves. When Nikola Tesla engaged in the experiments of Hertz, he found these waves not to be completely electro-magnetic. The early death of Hertz prevented any further progress. However “the world view” kept hold of its belief that “Hertzian” waves are only transverse E. M. waves, the two distinctions now synonymous.

When Nikola Tesla undertook the development of his unique transmission transformers, he soon found the velocity of light had no relation here. In his “Colorado Springs Notes” experiment and calculation demonstrate that the propagation on his “extra coil” tends toward 180 percent luminal velocity. See “Theory of Wireless Power”, by E. P. Dollard. It is found that the extra coil propagation is not even in the dimension of velocity at all. See “Transmission and Reception of Telluric Electric Waves”, by E. P. Dollard. The one over c square is not applicable to the efforts of Nikola Tesla. Tesla is not equal to one over c square.

In the writings of J. J. Thompson it is found he considered dielectric propagation and magnetic propagation can be independent. Also considered is that the magnetism is a secondary response to dielectric forces. This is also found in the writings of C. P. Steinmentz, “Transients in Space”, page 394 to 419, from “Theory and Calculation of Transient Electric Phenomena”. Here considered is a “Hysteresis of the Aether”, given as an alternative to the concept of electromagnetic radiation. In this chapter the velocity of the dielectric induction and the velocity of magnetic induction are given as independent variables. The factor one over c squared is here only a dimensional transform between inductance and capacitance. See The International Tesla Society lecture on the “Hysteresis of the Aether” by E. P. Dollard. Here again one over c squared is only a proportionality factor, not a velocity.

Finally, it has been disclosed by insiders within the space program, N.A.S.A., of a “certain complication”. It was found that when far outside the Earth’s field of influence the stars and sun are NOT VISIBLE! However, the Earth and the Moon are plainly visible. No direct light in outer space, only that made visible by gross physical matter. This gives rise to an important question, does the “light” from the sun propagate with a velocity at all, or is it simply a function of time. The “time delay” may be no more than a hysteresis of the luminiferous aether.

It should be noted it is only by the time delay that we can consider velocity in many situations. Otherwise also needed is the wavelength. Is it the primary luminal induction, say from the Sun, a hysteresis in order to engender visible light on Earth? Now we are dug in deep!

So, what meaning do we attribute to one over c square? It is a velocity, an index, a ratio, a proportionality factor, and even a constituent of the Farad. It is in everything, and now we hang Einstein’s Theory of Relativity on top of it all. Such is one over c square.

In order to make a determination on this matter of one over c square it is instructive to enter the One Wing Parrot itself. We will take the position of Dorthey, who must conquer the Wicked Witch of the West, (WWW). Now she must stand, with her poodle and some unlikely friends from Lone Pine, before the great Wizard of Oz. Dorthey simply wants to go back to Kansas, and so do we. Here we must meet face to face with Einstein and the Theory of Relativity. In order to become better acquainted with the development of Relativity refer to E. Whittaker, “History of the Theories of the Aether”. Here follows only the salient features of Relativity as expressed by Albert Einstein. The primary purpose here is how Relativity relates to Electrical Engineering thru the concepts of Inductance and Capacitance.

Einstein’s theory finds its seed in a certain speed of light dilemma and the related experiments of Fitzeau involving moving liquid dielectrics (10-C Oil). Consider a pair of red lasers in a setup like the cubic experiments given earlier. Two red lasers, side by side, distant from each other, again are utilized. Each individual beam is received by its own individual target. Here the measurements are made. One laser is stationary, the other laser is moving towards its target at 50 percent luminal velocity, c. It is of course found that the beam sent by the stationary laser arrives at its target with a lag in time (hysteresis) that co-responds to the delay involved in luminal propagation thru the span between the laser and its target. The moving laser beam also arrives at its target with a lag in time, but not that of 150 percent luminal velocity as given by the superposition of velocities. It arrives with the same delay as that due to luminal velocity thru the span between the laser and its target. Hence the law of superposition is now not applicable to luminal velocity, no matter what the velocity of the moving laser, the velocity of the beam is always c. This situation provides the cornerstone upon which lay the Einstein concept of Relativity.

It is however that Einstein may have left out a few details. The stationary laser puts a red spot on its target. It is a red laser, just like the moving laser. They are both red, big deal. But wait Mr. Wizard, Look! Look! The spot on the moving laser’s target is GREEN!

The Theory of Relativity, or Why One Over C Squared:

So, how are you going to explain to the cops that the light was green when it is in reality red? Will you tell them “its all relative”? They say “you were going too fast.” The light looks green because of the “Doppler Effect”. This is a situation where the wavelength of light shortens and the frequency increases, maintaining a constant velocity. The moving laser is traveling with a velocity 50 percent that of light, the wavelength shortens by the square root of 50 percent, the frequency increases by the square root of 50 percent. Hence red light is forced to become green light. The speed of this light is still luminal velocity, c.

The dimensional relation is given by

(1) Velocity, or Length – Frequency

This velocity is a constant or invariant. Any variation in condition is factored into, the length of the wave, and the cyclic rate of the frequency, each in a complimentary manner so as to maintain a constant velocity. Here given is,

(2) Space, or Length in Centimeters,

(3) Time, or Per Frequency, in Seconds,

(4) Velocity, or Space Per Time, in Centimeter Per Second.

Thus the Doppler Effect shortens the wave length, and also shortens the time period, as given by the frequency. Because luminal velocity is the ratio of length to time, and both length and time both shorten in exact proportion to each other, the change cancels and the velocity remains a constant. In other words if the transmitting laser is in motion at a percent velocity of light, being 100 at luminal velocity, it is the length contracts by the square root of this percentage of luminal velocity, and the time period contracts by the square root of this percentage of luminal velocity. And obviously the product of a pair of square roots is the square of the square root, or the percentage of luminal velocity.

The basic dimensional relation

(5) Length times Frequency Equals the constant

Lambda times F gives c. This is a most fundamental law of radio engineering, where the constant c is 300 mega-cycle – meters per second.

Relativity results from the following situation. Riding with the laser, it moving 50 percent luminal velocity, you see it as red. It has a red wavelength and a red frequency. The stationary observer sees it as green. It is a green wavelength and a green frequency. Relative to the stationary observer, you riding the moving laser see length as longer, (red vs. green), and time as slower, (red vs. green) Einstein’s Relativity tells us the stationary observer sees length as shorter, (green vs. red) and time as faster relative to the motional observer, (green vs. red). Experiment shows that the light beam changes in its dimensional relations, Einstein says the motional observer changes in it’s dimensional relations. What can we make of this discrepancy?

The velocity at which light propagates, the luminal velocity, c, is a property of the dielectric itself, be it aether, or 10-C oil. This velocity has no relation to the motion of the transmitter itself, nor are its transmitted waves material projections. Nothing is “shot” out of the moving laser. The electric field can only “soak into the medium” at the rate defined by that medium. Light can only travel at luminal velocity as defined by the dielectric medium and its dimensional relation of one over c square, a numeric constant. Light is not a material projection, it is an inductive process, a process of the aether.

Is it now Einstein is in basic conflict with the radio engineer? What would the F.C.C. say? Einstein is also in conflict with Ohms Law. It has been shown by Thornberg, a critic of relativity, in his paper, “Real, or Imaginary Space – Time” that electro-magnetic relations derived thru relativistic concepts are in conflict with Ohm’s Law. This is, dimensionally, canceling the per centimeter.

(6) Ampere, equals Ampere plus Volt

Apples plus oranges, ampere and volt are different dimensional relations, hence they are NOT additive. But anything seems possible with Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. The proper form is

(7) Volt per Ampere, or Ohm

Thus referring to (6) it is

(8) Ampere equals Ampere plus Volt per Ohm

This is Ohm’s Law. What are we to make of this, have we been duped?

As seen thus far, the factor one over c squared looks as if it represents some kind of “Universal Virtue”, it finding a way into a multitude of dimensional relations. One over c square becomes a “Vestige of God,” transcendent from mortal scrutiny, except thru the prophet Einstein. It is a seed from which to spout a religion. Thru the effort of Albert Einstein luminal velocity and the “Theory of Relativity” has in a way engendered a spiritual foundation for “Today’s Society”. “Hey bro, its all relative, man, so*…”. To question Albert Einstein can even be considered “Anti-Semitic”, hence it will be enforced.

However, Einstein is a false prophet. The Theory of Relativity as the “Holy Scripture” is like a tele-evangelistic sales pitch. Nikola Tesla regarded Relativity as the greatest historical aberration of scientific thought. Relativity is no more than a philosophical standpoint, a virus to infect a “New Age”.

From the standpoint of the electrical engineer Einstein’s Relativity is “Bravo-Sierra”! However, it has sunk its roots into the basic consideration of Inductance and Capacitance. L and C represent co-efficients of aetheric processes, and as such represent the aether, not Relativity. Albert Einstein stands in the way of Michael Faraday, and Pharisees are now Physicists.

A basic theory of Relativity was put forth by Charles Proteus Steinmetz, the “Wizard of Schenectady”. His Relativity was for use by the electrical engineer. Hereby results a great simplification when calculating transient waves on electro-magnetic transmission lines. This theory finds development in his “Theory and Calculation of Transient Electric Phenomena and Oscillation,” the section “Transients in Space and Time”. Steinmetz refers to this as “Velocity Measure”. See his “Impulses, Waves and Discharges”, page 91 to 93.

In complex transmission line calculation the exponential operators, as derived from the factors of the Heaviside Telegraph Equation, are expressed in both time dimensional and space dimensional relations, it is like apples and oranges, they are not additive thus cannot be combined directly into a single unified exponential operator. Analogous is the E.M.F., E, in Volts, a time derivative, and the dielectric gradient, d, in volts per centimeter, a space derivative. The two are not directly additive.

These complications render the general solution for the Telegraph very complex, if not impossible. In fact as of yet no general solution has been developed at all! In order to overcome this problem, Steinmetz utilized the condition that one over c square is an intrinsic property of electro-magnetic transmission lines. This is to say, the ratio of the space factors is a constant, the velocity of light. The metrical dimensions of space and time are unified thru this constant, c, and the exponential operators are now directly additive.

Steinmetz here transforms all space dimension relations of distance along the transmission line from centimeters to LIGHT – SECONDS. The Light – Year is an equivalent metrical relation. This is given as,

(9) Centimeters, or Centimeter – Second per Second,

Or, in the form of

(10) Velocity – Second, or Centimeter

Hence, the space dimension of distance, in centimeters, has been replaced by the product of Luminal Velocity, c, in centimeters per second, and the Time, t, in seconds, or light – seconds, ct, in a manner like Minkowski. Space factors and time factors are rendered additive thru velocity measure. This methodology allowed Steinmetz to discover previously unknown transient waves on transmission systems. Here given is the Steinmetz Theory of Relativity, a basic, easy to understand engineering tool. Late in his life C. P. Steinmetz wrote an entire book on his view of a General Theory of Relativity.

It should be noted that the Relativity of Steinmetz, and its velocity measure, is only useful in a Transverse Electro-magnetic situation. This is such in an E.M. transmission line as found in power and telephone work. Here all propagation is in terms of the factor one over c square. For situations involving transformer windings, or the networks utilized by the transmission systems of N. Tesla, E.F.W. Alexanderson, or even G. Marconi, this system of Relativity is not applicable. Propagation in these configurations cannot be represented by one over c square, nor any velocity at all. See the “Transmission and Reception of Telluric Electric Waves”, by E. P. Dollard.

The mathematical work of C. P. Steinmetz follows a basic engineer’s path as originated by Oliver Heaviside. It also is primarily directed into the dimension of time, little is given on the dimension of space, other than in a relation involving a propagation velocity, or for the determination of inductance and capacitance. Steinmetz methods fall short when propagation in transformer windings are involved. Here one must turn to the later efforts of L. V. Bewly, in “Traveling Waves on Transmission Systems”.

It is, in the transmission systems here discussed, the inductive fields of electricity are not involved in a motional metallic – dielectric geometry. That is to say, the inductors and the capacitors are stationary in space. However these have been given in a condition of relative motion internally, as with parameter variation. Here the inductive fields of induction are CLOSED within the metallic – dielectric geometry, which in its self is stationary in space.

The theory of relativity as expressed by Einstein involves a condition where the inductors and capacitors, along with their magnetic and dielectric fields respectively, are forcibly moved about in space. Here the electric induction is made to move at a velocity other than that of its natural velocity. The writings of J. J. Thompson deal extensively with this condition but Einstein makes no reference to this important work. With Einstein’s Relativity the electricity is forced into a motion beyond its own force of movement.

An example is a common bar magnet, engendering an extensive magnetic field of induction. When the magnet is at rest its magnetic lines of force exhibit only internal aetheric motions, outside this they are stationary. However, if this magnet is forced into motion, the magnetic lines of force react to this force of motion. This is a reactive force, much like the E.M.F. As with the E.M.F. or the brakes on a car, this reactive force only manifests during a change in velocity with respect to time.

(11) Velocity per Second, or Acceleration,

Or

(12) Centimeter per Second Square

If the velocity remains constant the reactive force is zero. This is to say, if the magnet is moving at a uniform velocity, as well as its inductive field, no forces are developed. However, the energy consumed by this motional accelerative force upon the magnet is partly given to the momentum of the mass of the magnet and partly to a stored energy in the magnetic field. Now a condition exists where a magnetic field has an apparent mechanical momentum, just as does the physical mass of the magnet. Hence the total momentum is greater than if the body of the magnet was not magnetized. One may wrongly infer the physical body gains mass in proportion to the energy of momentum. In actuality, it is stored by the magnetic field of induction. The Einsteinian concept is that the magnet gets “heavier”, as the magnet moves faster, ignoring the electrical momentum. This is faulty reasoning from the standpoint of the Faraday – Thomson understanding of electric induction. It is considered that this inertial, or reactive force, gains a considerable magnitude, as well as the quantity of stored energy, this when the velocity of the magnet nears luminal velocity. If the motional velocity is equal to the luminal velocity, the magnitude of the line of force, and the quantity of the stored energy is infinite. Here represented is the so called “limiting velocity of the speed of light, the axiom of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. The bar magnet is considered to “gain mass” in a certain proportion to the velocity of the magnet, becoming infinite at luminal velocity. Hence, nothing can go faster than light, or even as fast for that matter. Very simple idea, but founded upon a faulty inference when considered electrically.

Oliver Heaviside wrote quite extensively on the subject of the motional electric field, but this is ignored. He may as well have not even written it. No wonder he painted his fingernails pink! One fact unmentioned here with regard to the relativistic theory is the bar magnet carries with it a magnetic field of induction, where as, in general physical mass does not. Is it then a limiting velocity condition for “un-charged” matter? Or is it all matter carries some amount of electric induction, which gives rise to a limiting velocity? To consider the gross physical mass as an increase with its physical velocity, ignoring the momentum of the electric field, seems absurd. Here lay the lack of watertight integrity in the Titanic of Einstein’s Relativity. See page 22 to 24, “Electricity and Matter”, J. J. Thompson, and “Occult Aether Physics”, by W. Lyne.

Electricity, Atomic Science, and Relativity:

It has been developed thus far the general meaning of the concept One Over c Squared. Hence a broader understanding of what is meant by the “speed of light” has been obtained. The factor, c, is best not considered a velocity, it is a proportionality ratio of time and space. By virtue of c being a ratio it is dimensionally equivalent to a velocity, but c should not be considered a velocity in and of itself.

Also given has been that light should not be considered a material projection, it is not, light is not the “Cereal Shot From Guns”. It has a propagation of the medium itself. For a motional transmitter, the so called “Doppler Effect” maintains the energy balance, raising the frequency in proportion to the motional velocity of the transmitter. The wavelength accordingly gets shorter. Thus the luminal velocity of the transmitted wave is always c, a constant. The concept of “hysteresis, or velocity,” was touched upon.

Finally, it was given thru the Faraday – Thompson concepts, that the mechanical momentum and the electrical momentum are two distinct forms of energy storage. This obviates any so called “Mass – Energy Equivalency,” no E equals mc squared. It is in reality, not relativity, the momentum of the electric field itself that grows asymptotically in magnitude when the physical velocity nears luminal velocity. These ideas are based upon the very foundation of Electrical Theory. This is shown in “Electricity and Matter”. Albert Einstein ignores these concepts in his Theory of Relativity, they just do not exist. This is given in “Occult Aether Physics”. Einstein has substituted a form of mysticism to replace logical reasoning, he is a mystic.

Reviewing the writings of J. J. Thompson, Atomic Science is here seen to emerge in its infant form. Concepts now considered the realm of Albert Einstein, in actuality were those of J. J. Thompson. For example, in his book “Electricity and Matter”, the idea of the Planck, a quantity of induction, is given, quote from page 63;

“The Faraday tubes stretching thru the Aether cannot be regarded as entirely filling it. They are rather to be looked upon as discrete threads embedded in a continuous Aether, giving to the latter a fibrous structure; but if this is the case, then on this the view we have taken of a wave of light the wave itself must have a structure, and the front of the wave, instead of being, as it were, uniformly illuminated, will be represented by a series of bright specks corresponding to the places where the Faraday tubes cut the front.” Hence the Planck, Q. Here Thompson gives its size as that of a unit Faraday Tube, this being one Coulomb. So, how bit is a Planck?

In his “Electricity and Matter” J. J. Thompson establishes the concept of Atomic Energy, pre-dating Einstein by a decade. To quote, from page 111;

“Let us take the case of the Hydrogen atom for which n equals 1000, (n is the number of Faraday tubes, or electronic corpuscles), and take for a the value usually assumed in the kinetic theory of gases for the radius of the atom, i.e., 10 to the minus 8 centimeter. Then the energy is 1.02 time 10 to the plus 19 ergs; this amount of energy would be sufficient to lift a million tons thru a height exceeding one hundred yards.” Here J. J. Thompson gives not only a dimensional relation for Atomic Energy, but establishes the size of the Planck via the tubes of induction within the Hydrogen atom. Thompson gives 1000 corpuscles, we say one electron. Hereby given is a dielectric induction, psi, in Coulomb, of 1000 lines per electron. The Planck can now be quantified. How is it that Einstein ignores all of this information in his Theory of Relativity?

In order to better understand the Einstein concept of “Relativity” certain concepts must be given;

(1) Galilean Transformation
(2) Lorentz Transformation
(3) Minkowski Space – Time

These subjects are normally out of the realm of Electrical Engineering. In brief, the Galilean Transform affixes a point of reference in space from which to observe motions in that space. Nothing is attributed to space itself. Here derived is the concept that the Earth is not the center of the Universe, it only appears so when moving with the Earth. When the system of co-ordinates for observation is “Transformed” from those of the Earth to those of the Sun, the Sun now appears the center of the universe. This transformation process can be carried, stage by stage, until a co-ordinate system at universal rest is reached, the “Cosmic Ground”. Nikola Tesla achieved this thru electrical means. Einstein’s Relativity says this is not possible, no Cosmic Ground can be found. Everything is relative, and must be so.

Einstein replaces the idea of a Galilean Transform with that of the Lorentz Transform. The Lorentz Transformation is in some ways like the Doppler effect, it is a numeric factor by which the impedance to motion increases asymptotically as the motional velocity nears luminal velocity. It is given by the relation,

(1) One minus the ratio of the velocity square to c square

Denoting this relation as the factor gamma square, this is the difference of alpha square and beta square, it is given by

(2) Gamma square, or alpha square minus beta square

Here alpha equals one, and beta is defined as the ratio of motional velocity, v, and the Luminal Velocity, c. Hence relation (2) represents that of a hyperbola. Hereby gamma square is

(3) One squared minus v squared over c squared

The Lorentz transform is then defined as one over gamma, and it is unity for zero motional velocity, and is infinite for a motional velocity of the speed of light. Hence the impedance to physical motion is infinite at a velocity of c, via relativistic reasoning. However is it that this is only valid for charged particles and not gross physical matter?

Because the Lorentz transform is the square root of a hyperbolic function, it can be inferred here by the existence of another “so called Universe” where a particle cannot slow down to the speed of light. Hence a pair of conditions exist here. One group of particles cannot be accelerated up to the speed of light, and a conjugate group of particles cannot be de-accelerated down to the speed of light. Wow Mr. Wizard, Einstein never told us that!

Minkowski space – time has already been discussed, but in review, Cartesian third order space is made Minkowski fourth order space by the addition of a fictitious co-ordinate, or length, derived as a light – second, ct. To be “cool” Minkowski affixes a versor operator, the square root of minus one, to this fictional length. Gaussian co-ordinates are utilized.

Combining terms from the versor hyperbolic function of the Lorentz transform to the terms of the Minkowski four – space produces a resultant 16 co-ordinates, (or wrongly dimesions). Consider the versor operator on the fourth co-ordinate, or light – second, here exists four distinct “space – time continuums” in two quadrature time frames, all this with the velocity of light as a common pole. This has now become in-ordinatly overcomplicated, but thru the lawyer style skill of the Einsteinian Physicists all terms are erased that do not fit the chosen idea. It may be inferred that A. Einstein was not much of a mathematician, and by ignoring J. J. Thompson he was not much of a scientist. Not a mathematician, not a scientist, not an engineer, so just what was Albert Einstein anyway? He was a Mystic.

Basic electrical knowledge is based upon the theories known as “Faraday – Maxwell”. Out of this basic “arch-form” have grown the

(1) Maxwell – Thompson Theory

(2) Maxwell – Heaviside Theory

(3) Maxwell – Lorentz Theory

(4) Maxwell – Einstein Theory

It is that Maxwell has many interpreters, but where is Maxwell’s words? This is much like Christianity. Many religions, many churches, but no Jesus. Jesus is not a welcome guest in any church, nor is Maxwell. Here given is an intrinsic property of Human Society. It is written, it is invariably terminal, Jesus at age 33.

In the advancement of electrical engineering theory C. P. Steinmetz dropped Maxwell all together. Hereby Steinmetz developed his important transformer equations, the very foundation of transformer theory. The first vestige of a theory on longitudinal electric waves is seen here. Steinmetz primarily directed his efforts to the metrical dimension of time, using ideas and terms finding their origin in Oliver Heaviside. The dimension of space is primarily treated only in terms of a velocity, that is, as space – time. In his development of the Faraday concepts and inductance & capacitance the dimension of space is considered on its own, but to a limited extent. It seems that we just simply cannot separate space from the velocity of light.

The Lamare Longitudinal Transmission Experiment/N.F.G Interlude:

I received Lamare’s package of material, very good to see the activity it has roused. I am not sure as to how the spherical antenna is made, nor the field patterns it engenders so I can offer no comment.

Plenty of N.F.G. here in Lone Pine. Here N.F.G. for me was the Annenburg Foundation of Los Angeles. Useless Einsteiners. Same story, Oh yes I will help you, let me store your driveshaft, it will be fine. Then it all vanished. Duped again. Further, oriental mysticism blocks my writing on forum!

I fail to understand why what I have shown repeatedly thru experiment and theory just seems to fly over everyone’s head. I use no more than high school science and math. The impediment can only be attributed to a pathological mysticism, or mental retardation. While the latter is intrinsic, the former is induced. Is it no surprise that the only man in Lone Pone who gets what I am saying is a truck driver, Bart. My Einstein series was initiated by him and is thus dedicated to him.

The mystical experience is the force which moves one to science. It is transitory. The mysticism dissolves into Science and then bears fruit as Engineering. Mysticism, as defined in my writing, is not transitory. It is continuous and thus hates Science. Without a mystery the mystic is no longer the priest. This is a Platonic Epistemology. It is based upon Faith, not upon Reason. This is a necessity in Christianity, however in the majority of situations this Faith is based upon nebulous reasoning. With Lawyer like skill it’s factors change meaning depending upon their position in space, time, or “attitude”. Platonic reasoning is ultimately Totalitarian. This Platonic reasoning is next taken up by Einstein and formed into a Kabalistic-Existentialist view of physical reality, this in direct conflict with Nature’s Laws. Einstein is the image of an ultimate and infallible creature who should be regarded as a God. The i force society of today is the flower, me, my, I, and you, you’re a piece of ****! Here lay the foundation for the extinction of Science and Engineering in the U.S.A. Wow, Mr. Wizard, do they want to kill us? However, to continue pandering, Bearden takes us right back to mysticism. But more so, he is a dis-informer making sure no one figures out Tesla. What would Israel say about “Tesla Weapons” in Iran? Or, would we want them in the hands of Israel?

Then we have the Corum, K.L. and J.F. This is the P.E.E.E. Forget them, no Tesla knowledge exists here. And then A. Puharich (not real name). Remember at the “Last Supper” R. Josh Reynolds cut funding to A. Puharich, stating I had done more on Food Stamps than he had with millions of dollars. I am QRU on all this. In reality only I seem to be able to understand Tesla and I guess that should make me feel good, so that’s that.

At this time I am engaged in the study of details for the continuation of Inductance and Capacitance series of writings. The established dimensional relations are N.F.G., even in the writings of C.P. Steinmetz. Too many canceled dimensions thru unit values, and lots of missing versors in space. For example, in Inductance calculations the radius of a circle is a line, the circumference of a circle is a circle. Here we have two distinct co-ordinate systems, or vector expressions, a kind of space quadrature. Thus

c = 2πr Centimeters

is not vectorally complete, it is

c = 2 πkr Centimeters

where k is a versor operator. Hence it is that c and 2πr are not interchangeable. Here is an important complication in the dimensional relations for Inductance and Capacitance.

As for the factor pi over two in the Longitudinal Velocity, it represents an integration and is not an actual velocity, per-se. This pi over two also can result from improper derivation of the distributed constants for transmission structures. This is shown in the paper (I.R.E.) “Electrical Oscillations in Antennae and Induction Coils”, J. Miller, 1919.

The propagation of a Transverse Electro-Magnetic Wave is given by the dimensional relation

Centimeter per Second,
Or Velocity, v

This represents the ratio of space, centimeter, to time, second.

In a conjugate form the propagation constant of a Longitudinal Magneto-Dielectric Wave is given by the dimensional relation,

Per Centimeter, per Second,
Or per (Centimeter – Second)

Counter – Velocity, u.

This is the ratio of counterspace, per centimeter, to time, seconds.

In an alternate form of expression, the T.E.M. propagation constant is the square root of the product

Henry per Second, Mu

And,

Farad per Second, Epsilon.

And for the L.M.D. propagation constant, it is the square root of the product

Per (Henry – Centimeter)

And

Per (Farad – Centimeter)

The composite propagation constant hence is the superposition of the velocity, v, and the counter velocity, u. The two are not dimensionally additive so a versor and a dimensional transform of centimeter square is required.

The T.E.M. wave is always along the axis of the metallic geometry, tangent to the metallic boundary. Such is given by the “Co-axial Cable”. Conversely, the L.M.D. wave is always perpendicular to the axis of the metallic geometry, normal to the metallic boundary. Such is given by the “Transformer Winding”. The resulting complex propagation of v and u is a spiral with a tilt angle from the metallic axes of the coiled winding. Where T.E.M. waves drag into the metallic (electron flow) the L.M.D. wave bypasses the metallic (no electron flow) hence no Ohmic resistance. The factor pi over two is the composite propagation for only a unique set of parameters. See “The Oscillating Coil” part of the “Theory of Wireless Power” E.P. Dollard. Note here that errors found a way into the tables, but the equations are right. Now why could not the Corum’s figure this out? Why is it they make no reference to any work on this by Blume, Bewely, Dollard, and etc? The Corums, Well?

One very important fact that escapes notice (Meyl, et al) is that Tesla’s transmission networks are Mono-Polar. The dipolar concepts so dear to all now swirl down the toilet bowl (burp). Forget Bearden, Forget Meyl, it is crap for the crapper! Tesla circumvents the concept of plus and minus, there is one pole only, plus. Here is a true “Single Phase” Alternating Current, one wire only. This is a philosophically disruptive concept for the God vs. Devil duality. God has no opposite pole, it is one, positive only. This is the secret to the Tesla transmission concept. Action vs. Reaction now is voided.

When considering a resonant coil in its fundamental mode of oscillation, as the Tesla “Extra Coil”, the potential e at the terminal end is 90º (π/2 radians) ahead in time phase compared to the E.M.F. E at the lower end. This is given by the relation

b, is the Induction Factor of the Oscillating Coil

It is hereby seen that no circulation of flux lines is possible, hence the coil becomes “Longitudinally Transmissive.” Potential e and E.M.F. E exist in separate time frames. This relationship cannot be produced by a two wire (T.E.M. quarter wave line because here the laws of circuitation rule. It must be a single wire so configured as to allow propagation normal to the axis of the metallic boundary, (L.M.D.).

Hereby enclosing the electrostatic terminal of a Tesla transmission system within a metallic sphere will fail to shield the radial dielectric lines of force, whereas a dipolar system within the metallic sphere cannot get out of this sphere except that leaking thru the transmission line entry opening. It is that simple, but no one gets it. Every one jumps back to Bearden, Corum, Meyl, and stays mystified, WHY?

Certain considerations present themselves when applying the notion of “Antenna Gain” with regard to T.E.M. and L.M.D. propagation. The directivity of T.E.M. waves is based on the spatial dimensional relation of area. High gain is a large aperture, centimeter square, (a big dish). It is given dimensionally as

Width times k*Height

This is a cross product, k is the right angle operator, a versor of dimensionless form. Wave propagation is normal to the surface of this area of width cross height, on the axis of versor k. Heaviside calls this

The transverse product of width and height is length. V is his vector product operator.

The situation is much different for the L.M.D. wave. Directivity here is co-linear, or axial. Dimensionally it is given as

Equals Length squared

Wave propagation is co-linear with this length squared. This axial “Antenna” must now be counter – spatial in form, that is, it must be subdivided. The apparent physical length here is now only an integrated resultant derived from the summation of counterspatial spans. A ruler with 16th inch spans has a physical length of one foot. Hereby it may be that a “Big Dish” is not the way to go for L.M.D. waves.

However, by another line of reasoning, since we have no established Truths as of yet, consider “Electric Sound Waves” in the Aether. After all that is what Tesla said. See Thornberg’s work on “Maxwellian electric sound waves in the Aether”. So it is required to make an electrical analog to sound. Helmholtz works to cover this but Heaviside points out the math is no good.

The P and S seismic wave analog looks good. What is needed is an alternative to Mu in Henry per centimeter and Epsilon in Farad per centimeter. In the L.M.D. theory it is not Mu nor Epsilon but per (Henry – cm) and per (Farad – cm). This is seen in the P & S wave papers sent to me by Lamare. Tesla praised Helmholtz but it may take another Oliver to make it work. Here a “Big Dish” may work.

Finally, I put out on the “Heretical Builder” forum an Alexanderson “Antenna” for the 160 meter ham band. It is a scalar (space) wave guide structure and has no wavelength, hence “space scalar”. This network is scaled upon the 18.6 kilo-cycle version made for the Navy at station KET, Bolinas, California. A scale of 100 to 1 was selected hence 18.6 kc becomes 1860 kc, a ham frequency. This network produces a Longitudinal Dielectric form of propagation, with no magnetic component. Pure “Dielectric Waves” ala J.J. Thomson. Space scalar transmission may be possible between identical units in phase sync. A great ham radio project, but you will not find it in QST. But no one makes it, has Ham radio, once considered a National Technical Asset, now become a useless hobby of self denial? If so, the F.C.C. will no longer consider it valid and take steps to phase it out of existence by some “911 phantasy laws”. So do we run back to Bearden’s dipoles smashing electrons on the 405 freeway, back to Meyl’s Edmund Scientific Toys, and back to the Corum math masterbations upon the resonant coil, back to the feet of the one wing parrot? I hope not!

Einstein, Tesla, and the Wizard of Oz:

Einstein and his theories can be expressed by an animal story: As understood thru his writing Relativity as a “package of ideas” is in many ways similar to the “egg of the coo-coo bird”. The coo-coo bird builds no nest of its own, it looks for the right next among those other birds. Here found it lays its egg in the selected next of another bird. Upon hatching its chick forces the others out of the nest, over the side. Such is the growth cycle of Relativity, as given by Einstein.

In order to understand the Einsteinian reasoning certain logical relationships are taken from “Relativity”, by Albert Einstein, Random House Publisher, 1916, page 50. Here given is;

(1) Proposition (A) is Electro-Dynamic Theory, Maxwell – Lorentz.

(2) Proposition (B) is Relativistic Theory Einstein – Minkowski.

(3) There are many experiments in favor of (A), or also in favor of (B).

(4) These experiments “limit the theoretical possibilities” so that only (A) holds to the test of experience.

(5) Certain experiments conform to (A) thru an “Auxiliary Hypothesis” which is “extraneous without (B).”

Consider Einstein’s statement on the same page 50;

“In the theoretical treatment of these electrons we are faced with the difficulty that electro-dynamic theory of itself is unable to give an account of their nature.” “For since electrical masses constituting the electron would necessarily be scattered under the influence of their mutual repulsions, unless there are forces of another kind operating between them the nature of which has hitherto remained obscure to us.”

Forces of another kind, you mean the dielectric lines of force, removed from obscurity by the Faraday – Thompson concept of induction? Every electron is a motional terminus of a quantity of dielectric lines of force, these lines contracting and stretching like rubber bands, giving motion to the terminus electron. The thermionic electron contracts, pulling the electron, the cathode ray stretching, pulled by the electron. In the former case the lines of force are dissipated, in the latter case the line of force are projected, both cases the electrons assume ray like motion, with non participating lines of force filling the voids, directing the electrons. Hence, it is the electrons travel in straight lines, that is, rays.

These facts have been known from the initial invention of the “Vacuum Tube” by Sir William Crookes, leading to the extensive experimental work into atomic science by J. J. Thompson, and Nikola Tesla. It is here seen that the so-called electron is only a shadow, its apparent physical mass is only an electrical momentum. There is no rest mass to an electron. It is given here the electron is no more than a broken loose “hold fast” under the grip of the tensions within the dielectric lines of force. They are the broken ends of the split in half package of spaghetti. Obviously this reasoning is not welcome in the realm of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. Are we to believe that Einstein had no prior knowledge of the most prominent theoretical and experimental work of his time?

Continuing from “Relativity” by Albert Einstein, page 51.

“The second class of facts to which we have alluded has a reference to the question whether or not the motion of the Earth in space can be made perceptible in terrestrial experiments.”…”All attempts of this nature led to a negative result.” Einstein’s Relativity leads to the conclusion that no point of reference in the Galilean sense can actually exist, that is, all points of reference are relative to each other. This relativity is in a Lorentz transform rather that a Galilean Transform. No absolute reference possible, it is everything is relative. This is tantamount to the denial of the existence of God. Forgotten is that relativity did not find favor in its day, for this very reason, it is atheistic. Like Existentialism, or Cubism, Relativism represents a most destructive philosophical construct by which to afflict modern man. The destructive philosophical forces flowered as the “Third Reich”.

The monophasic dielectric forces developed thru the work of Nikola Tesla nullify relativistic relations. Tesla, thru a unique space-time hysteresis electrically “grounded” to a zero order Galilean coordinate system. It is also the cathode ray projector tubes utilized by Tesla in his atomic studies also nullify relativistic relations. Tesla’s remarks about “radiant matter” indicate the existence of cosmic rays of immense penetrating power moving fifty (50) times faster than the velocity of light (Le Sage particles). Here Albert Einstein is in direct contradiction with the experimental researches of Nikola Tesla, and in complete ignorance of the experimental researches of J. J. Thompson. Einstein “layed his egg” in the “nest of Faraday”. From here it is that “Theoretical Physics” is henceforth divorced from “Electrical Science”. In turn Theoretical Physics made a “Wh*re” of Maxwell, the “offspring” of Faraday.

Recently, in the “Los Angeles Times” newspaper, a series of page long editorials were given on Einstein, this as “Damage Control” over the European C.E.R.N. superluminal particle experiments. The L.A . Times is harsh, stating that C.E.R.N. was irresponsible, and must ask for permission to publish such findings! Later editorial writings express Einstein as the supreme authority, the spiritual master, etc. Well, after all, He pushed to make an E equals mc squared bomb to effect the genocide of the German People. A real holy man, don’t you think?

In epilogue, when Albert Einstein came to America, amid the accolades, and the fanfare, he was naturally introduced to T. A. Edison, the “Axle grease and timbers” all American Scientist-Inventor. The “coyote like” Edison cunningly produced one of his company intelligence tests for Einstein to complete. Einstein did not do so good on Edison’s company examination, he did not know the speed of sound! Is it possible here that Einstein is just another version of Marconi, both in defiance to Tesla. Finally, January 1, 200 A Time Magazine cover declares Albert Einstein the “Man of the Century”. We verily have been duped!

So here we stand. We have penetrated the Giant One Winged Parrot. While the multitudes have been quivering at the feet of this awesome idol, the Poodle went around to the rear of it, revealing no more than a diminutive circus operator at a small control panel. This formidable idol is no more than a giant CIRCUS PROP! Now can we go back to Kansas?
